PURPOSE:
Provide effective guidance / support to team members on a daily basis the delivery of the Operating Plant in the refinery operating areas at the Refinery during the assigned shift and assigned Area unit, acting as contact point for all team members and area housekeeping champion, through; (1) Leading by setting a good example and engaging the team to achieve their goals (2) Coordinator for daily operation and maintenance activities, SAP approval, SAP activities, SCM activities & other related activities (3) Proactively ensures smooth team operations and effective collaboration among team members, (4) Support Area Manager in critical and emergency situation; in order to ensure company policy and procedures compliance on Safety, PSM, Internal and External audit & PTW audit, as well as, ensures that specific plant Area unit throughput / products meets required specifications in the most economical and safe manner.
Education Requirements:
Diploma (3 years) or HND

Minimum Requirements:
At least 12 years' experience in the oil refining industry.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in same role or senior panel operator role or supervisory role in an oil refinery within the Petrochemical industry. Knowledge of the Refining process and plant equipment.
Experience in supporting the installation of at least one SAP system for maintenance management on behalf of the Operations team.
The incumbent must have good communication skills in verbal and written English. Display calmness under pressure, ability to focus on team priorities
Seasoned Operations Supervisors or senior operator, with in depth expertise in one or several of the following processes:

Refinery Shift Superintendent
PURPOSE:
Supervise, control and coordinate to Client shift operations activities in the refinery, under delegated authority from GM Operations, covering the spectrum of GM Operation and Maintenance's scopes, and acting as adjustment of operational parameters, through: (1) Plans resources for the synchronization of operations (shifts, working hours, inventories, warehouses, emergency withdrawal of tools), optimization of operational parameters and shift performance, (2) Coordinate Plant Inspection and audits of all operation and offsite areas and ensures adherence to SOPs, work instructions, HSE and PTW procedures, (3) Lead Plant upset and emergencies response in case of major incidents; and (4) Handles all problems and emergencies occurring during shifts and maintain available ullage for the production and inventories; in order to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all operating areas.
Shift Refinery Superintendent Position will act in accordance with Client's values and strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government and other legal justification's, and best international practices aligned with national objectives and Ethics.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum Requirements:
At least 15 years' experience in process industry.

PURPOSE:

Operations Maintenance Coordinator
PURPOSE:
Coordinates, interfaces and approves all maintenance activity for all the operations area, unit and process at Client's under Operations Area Team Leader scope, acting as central point of accountability and contact for all maintenance related activities at the designed area for the maintenance work plus operations activities needed to prepare equipment for maintenance, including the issuance of permit to work, and return of equipment to service through: (1) Interfaces with Operations and Complex Manager (to ensure high quality work notifications are written clearly, equipment is ready for hand over to Maintenance as scheduled, safe work permits are ready when Maintenance crews show up to work, and equipment is returned to service, (2) Interfaces with Operations and Maintenance to ensure all maintenance work is appropriately risk ranked, planned, and scheduled, (3) Chairs the daily risk ranking meeting with Maintenance and Operations to appropriately risk rank and prioritize work, (4) Interfaces with Maintenance Scheduler to ensure maintenance work is scheduled at the optimal time (once work is scheduled only the OMC can break the schedule), and (5) Shares KPIs with Area Manager and Maintenance Manager, in order to ensure an incident and injury free work place, team-work and collaboration among Operations and Maintenance such that work notifications are well written, operators care for equipment to maximise performance and time between repairs, maximize plant safety, availability, and efficiency, for the quality delivery of products.
Operation Maintenance Coordinator (OCM) position will act in accordance with Client's values and strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government and other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.
Education Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Diploma in Engineering or similar (preferably mechanic or electric and instrumentation specialization)
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Engineer, Operator Day Supervisor, or Operator Shift Supervisor within oil & gas refinery and Petrochemical industry. Knowledge of the Refining process and plant equipment.

PURPOSE:
Operates control panel (DCS) equipment at Client during the assigned shift & Area unit acting as a panel controller and team members, through; (1) Monitor control panels unit's process performance on a continuous basis using the distributed control system (DCS), (2) Review laboratory sample results analysis by referring to laboratory information management system (LIMS) updates, trending results and makes necessary adjustment of the control panel instructions, (3) Control start-up, shutdown and emergencies by alternations of speed, temperature, pressure and flow rates as necessary, (4) Monitor the performance of advance Process Control (APC) and provides feedback of corrective action and optimization to process engineers, and (5) Initiates operational adjustments to ensure optimization of process performance and improves high value product yield; in order to ensure units to ensure products meet the required specification and plant operates in a safe manner.
