We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the Unconventional Resources Planning & Performance Management Division (UR P&PM).

The UR P&PM division provides finance, accounting, and planning support to Unconventional Resources operational departments encompassing drilling and stimulation, seismic, facility planning, and production operations. In this highly visible role, UR P&PM routinely interacts with representatives from Saudi Aramco Finance, Corporate Planning, Upstream and Supply Planning functions.

Your primary role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to support operations and ensure financial accountability in accordance with company guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance.

You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

You must possess demonstrated experience in accounting, budgeting, planning, performance management, capital management, expenditure analysis or related finance and accounting functions. Prior experience with shale/unconventional gas operations is strongly preferred.

You must possess working knowledge of applicable International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

You should hold relevant professional certification - CPA, CMA, CA, CGMA, CAPPA, or equivalent. Master Degree is a plus.

You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. SAP knowledge highly desired.

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer, to work on a permanent basis in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams producing presentations, studies and reports.

We are seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to join the Operational Excellence & Compliance Group of Well Completion Operations & Production Engineering Department.

The Operational Excellence & Compliance Group is responsible for providing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) support to the department's operations. This include rigless interventions (coil tubing and wireline), stimulation, well testing and artificial lift systems.

The primary role of the Field Compliance Coordinator is the development, maintenance and implementation of the company safety management system, environmental management system and operational excellence management system. You must be knowledgeable of company compliance standards, best practice and industry standards that relate to the department's operation. The position requires a wide berth of knowledge of unconventional well servicing operations, particularly rig-less stimulation (hydraulic fracturing) and well intervention. As a subject-matter expert, you will coach and mentor other safety/compliance staff within the team.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, an environmental discipline (science or engineering), and/or another engineering discipline from a recognized and accredited program. An advanced degree is preferred.

You must have ten experience in health and safety as well as ten years of oil and gas experience. Experience with an unconventional independent oil and gas operator is preferred.

You will have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written), computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. You must have the ability to work in a multicultural environment and the drive to overcome significant challenges.
You will be required to perform the following:

Act as the department's point of contact for matters related to safety, loss prevention, environment, occupational health, compliance and operational excellence.

Implement the departmental version of the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System, and in meeting unconventional rig-less well completion operations' safety objectives and expectations. This includes assisting engineering, operations and planning teams in maintaining existing and developing new safety processes related to risk assessment and management, safety training, asset integrity, safe operations, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, etc.

Conduct frequent scheduled or ad-hoc field inspections of unconventional rig-less well completion operations sites.

Participate in various safety studies/activities, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys. Participate in or lead risk studies or conduct consequence analyses.

Develop and update operational excellence standards and ensure sound and timely implementation of related OE processes and policies.

Review engineering designs for compliance with company and industry safety standards.

Respond to emergency situations and incidents, either during or after regular working hours, to provide technical assistance and advice.

Participate in developing and promoting on- or off-job safety educational programs, to address safety issues or concerns. Assigned tasks may include: preparation of articles for publication, development of promotional materials, and delivery of presentations. Act as a mentor to other OE/compliance engineers.

Our Client is long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production, and refining, is seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer to join our growing Unconventional Resources (UR) program.

UR Gas Operations Development operates the surface facilities at UR fields in the North and South of the country. The Engineering Division within this department provides the support to both operating facilities and ongoing projects.

As the successful candidate you will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for designs through the Unconventional Resources Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices.

As a subject-matter expert you will represent UR in dealings with vendors, manufacturers, and/or design firms where expert instrumentation engineering advice is required. You will also be responsible for leading the team to develop full spectrum engineering standards for unconventional resources within the instrument engineering field.

One of your first tasks will be to work with design contractors to review spec sheets and support EPC contract design reviews. You will also be involved in FEED consultations.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have a bachelor's degree in engineering. A master's degree or a Ph.D. in engineering is highly desirable as well as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration.

You will have 15 years of professional experience in the field of instrumentation and control engineering, including 5 years as an engineer in charge of technical work in instrument engineering. Experience working with unconventional resources would be an advantage.

You will have achieved industry recognition through activities in professional societies and industrial organizations, such as ASME, ASCE, ASTM, API, NACE, SEI, and others. You will also be familiar with SCADA, DCS, and PCS systems.

As the successful candidate you will be expected to work in remote areas depending on the project you are assigned to.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Provide expert advice and assistance to the UR, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on instrument engineering matters.

Originate and carry out engineering studies to determine potential problems and remedies to existing problems, resolve complex technical problems, and review data sheets for instrumentation.

Inspect installations in factories and in the field.

Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control system issues in operational facilities.

Develop and maintain the UR engineering standards and design best practices.

Develop and review material takeoffs and data sheets for instrumentation equipment.

Evaluate and introduce best practices and new technologies from all over the world to help the UR to achieve best in class positions.

Review and evaluate the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to UR. Act as the department representative in dealings with vendors and manufacturers.

Work on or with task forces assigned to investigate incidents or solve specific problems.

Perform cost analyses and value engineering studies as appropriate.

Undertake special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outside organizations.

Conduct seminars in the resolution of technical problems with personnel in other engineering organizations.

Write papers for peer-reviewed journals on engineering studies and projects the candidate has overseen.

Our client is one of the world's largest fully integrated energy enterprises. As part of our continued growth, Unconventional Resources is actively seeking a Project Manager to join their world class team.

As a Project Manager in an unconventional asset you will manage a single project or several related projects in parallel (large and multiple intermediate-size) from preparation of the conceptual studies stage, Project Proposal to commissioning the facility and performing post-completion analysis. Under the general supervision of a Project Director or Department Manager, is responsible for the execution of assigned projects from development of the Project Proposal to commissioning the facility and performing post-completion analysis. The projects will vary in complexity.

The position will also include coordination at department and division levels with project management contractor, design office teams-overseas offices, and construction contractors. Experience in shale Gas projects industry is highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's Degree (4 Year Degree) in Engineering.

You will be certified as project Management professional (PMP).

You will have a minimum 12 years' experience in a broad spectrum of engineering work including project management. Operations supervision experience highly desirable.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be required to perform and demonstrate the following:

Perform all management functions of the Division level.

Ensure that designs meet company standards and specifications and that alternate design or changes are economical, operable and meet safety, schedule and quality requirements.

Coordinate cost estimation, the preparation of AFEs and ERs.

Responsible for compliance with project controls and administration procedures, including those related to cost control, planning and scheduling as well as contract administration.

Prepare a monthly report showing the status of design, material procurement, construction, milestones, AFE commitments, payments, charges, variances from standards, waivers and problems.

Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing or costs. Prepares documentation and obtains management approval.

Prepare a post-completion report for management critique.

Control the disposition of client and contractor construction personnel, local and International contractors working on assigned projects to execute the program in the most efficient manner.

Review assigned construction project status schedule and costs reports to ensure satisfactory progress of program commensurate with approved timing and funds.

See that requests are initiated for additional funds, if necessary, to complete assigned projects and is responsible that overspending appropriated funds is not done without prior approval.

Review bids and/or contracts for compliance to policy procedure and scope or stated agreements, as applicable. Approves contract payments for work accomplished after review that contractual obligations have been fulfilled.

You will be responsible overall for materials used on division projects, including proper usage and documentation.

Provide administrative direction to his assigned Senior Project Engineers and other engineering staff prepares job performance appraisals, reviews performance and approves merit increases as designated within his/her authority. Recommends job promotions.

Your primary role will be to support Unconventional Resources in all contractual issues. You will ensure contractor compliance with terms and conditions of contracts; prepare, review and monitor contract actions in SAP; work in coordination with Contracting and Law Departments when necessary and participate in the process of agreements' amendments, claims.

You will also ensure that Unconventional Resources requirements are incorporated for common categories managed by the Supply Chain. You will coordinate with category managers in the organization on activities relating to demand management and supplier relationship management.


Minimum Requirements

  • As the successful candidate you will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent level of education. Advanced degree is desirable. A procurement certification is desirable.
  • You will have a minimum of seven years' experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least two years in Contracts/Subcontract Management or Cost Estimation.

  • Work with others members of the Unconventional Resource Teams, others Divisions and Departments, to prepare financial studies that establish technical and financial for contract service and evaluation of alternatives.

Supply Chain Category Manager
We are seeking a Supply Chain Category Manager with experience of either Drilling Fluids, Rigs &/or Artificial List or Drilling & Completions to join our UR Supply Chain function.

Your primary role will be to implement the category management methodologies to support the UR operation. Through this role, you will play a central part in the development of category/sub-category demand forecasts, supply market analyses, and category management strategies. You will be responsible for implementing these strategies to maximize the total life cycle value obtained from the categories. In addition, you will lead supplier relationship management activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of demand forecasts and identify implications of such forecasts.
  • In coordination with the conventional Materials Supply category management organization you will develop category management strategies for drilling and completions categories and sub-categories, considering both the internal UR requirements and supply market conditions, to maximize the total life cycle value delivered to UR business users. You will develop category workbooks and procurement strategies to be implemented over the next ten years and present these strategies to key stakeholders and management. You will also ensure that category strategies comply with legal requirements and company policies, value assurance frameworks and business principles.
  • Prioritize strategic sourcing activities for the categories/sub-categories, and lead the execution of these activities (implementing the category strategies), including supply market engagement, preparation of RFP/RFX, evaluation of responses, negotiations, and development of strategic agreements.
  • Develop segmented supplier relationship engagement models for suppliers, monitor supplier/category performance, and engage with suppliers to improve performance.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with major contractors and suppliers at top management level, leveraging such relationships with relevant markets to provide current and insightful market intelligence.
  • Coordinate with UR business users, technical proponents, and other UR Supply Chain functions (such as tactical procurement and materials management) to ensure that the maximum value is obtained from the categories.
  • Coordinate with category managers in the conventional Materials Supply organization, to ensure alignment of category strategies at the corporate level and a unified approach to market for strategic categories while utilizing your extensive knowledge and experience to ensure that UR implements a cost-efficient and effective category management function.


Minimum Requirements

  • As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field and a Masters would be desirable.
  • You will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive field-based experience in the oil and gas industry with deep and extensive knowledge of either drilling fluids category management and commodities or drilling and completions category management and commodities.
  • You will have experience working within unconventional resources and possess sound knowledge hydraulic fracking and understanding of Drilling Fluids, coring, mud logging, etc.
  • You will also have knowledge of JD Edwards and SAP systems.
