Petroplan are assisting a major provider of risk management and quality assurance services with the appointment of a Senior Foundations Installation Engineer. The primary purpose of the role is to provide technical support to the Installation & Logistics Team in pre-FID and Construction Phases relating to matters surrounding piling activities. Whilst supporting the team, project and company in technical, management and administrative tasks. Based in Central London (travel occasionally required).

  • Understand and analyse all pile drivability aspects (and consents topics including but not limited to noise). Identify and follow-up actions.
  • Reviewing method statements and risk assessments to ensure company standards are maintained.
  • Promoting a strong, clear and positive health and safety culture for all primary activities, and secondary activities including interfaces

Essential:

  • Wind experience *must have*
  • Experience with installation of monopiles
  • GWO certification is favourable

Our client is currently seeking to engage someone to fulfil a junior designer role, this would be suitable for a recent graduate or someone starting out and who has some experience.

The role will be based in Aberdeen. Some initial travel may be required to London for project familiarisation purposes, this would not be a regular expectation.

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):

As part of a product development team working to Agile principles, the product designer will be responsible for translating user requirements into functioning applications. Value proposition techniques will be used to develop solutions and prioritise functionality in line with the business drivers. Experience in successful user mapping journeys, sitemaps and navigation will be needed when presenting wireframes and interaction concepts. Ideas and designs will be presented for feedback within the team to developers, product managers and stakeholders so an ability to communicate well between these disciplines is imperative.

Within this role strong knowledge of user research methodologies are essential in ensuring the best and most powerful designs decisions are made. In addition the ability to carry out user testing, piloting and demonstration of the business case will be an aspect of the role.

Role synopsis:
The role of Procurement & Supply Chain Management Contracts Specialist is to provide experienced Category Specialist know how and leadership in the UK for personnel reporting to the the EPC/EPMS Category Team Lead.

he ideal candidate will have a strong background in AUV system development and system integration. Experience product lifecycle management is also desirable.

A digital mindset is important with a demonstrable understanding of the opportunities created by robotics, analytics and the cloud. This team aim to be recognised as leaders in the development of Remote and Autonomous systems.

The candidate must be a collaborative team player, capable of contributing new ideas whilst comfortable being challenged themselves. The applicant must be able to take ownership of their work and be accountable for timely delivery.

Experience in AUV system development is advantageous, but applications are encouraged from adjacent engineering sectors with experience in ROV control systems, robotics, telepresence and automation.

  • Willingness to travel within the role during periods of testing, implementation and operations.
  • Ability to communicate and support more junior members of the team.
  • Develop the company's IP portfolio through identification of opportunities for patents and assess competitor filings.
  • Attend industry conferences; author and present papers where required


Key Experience / Attributes:

  • ROV Controls Systems design, development and integration experience.
  • Electronics and system design.
  • Software development, control and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding and experience with project and product life cycle management.
  • Conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Aptitude with developing complex systems.
  • Experience in writing supporting engineering documentation including design documentation, procedures, test plans and manuals.
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplined system engineering team.
  • Experience in Vendor and 3rd Party management.
  • Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness.


Preferable Experience / Attributes:

  • Experience in robotics or system and tooling automation in adjacent engineering sectors / industries.
  • Networks and communications design (e.g. LAN, WAN, VSAT)
  • Good working knowledge of industry standards, specifications and guidelines.
  • Knowledge and experience of control system safety standards.
  • Demonstrable commitment to personal development and technical learning.


Qualifications:

  • Recognised Engineering degree or equivalent work experience

Completion Supervisor

Location: Aberdeen. Scotland/Norh Sea

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review programmes for completeness of data and ensuring current/best practices employed.
  • Assist completion engineers with preparation of programmes and end-of well reporting.
  • Timely preparation of work instructions, tallies and inventories.
  • Ensure all completion equipment required for upcoming operation is available, checked and fit for purpose.
  • Accurate and comprehensive daily reporting of completion operations.
  • Provide technical support to drilling supervisor during completion operations.

Required Training:

  • Valid IWCF Intervention well control certification
  • Valid UKCS Offshore Survival
  • Valid UKCS Offshore Medical Certificate
