Our client is a US based, reputable and rapidly growing custom metal manufacturing company providing manufacturing services and products across a variety of industries making this a unique opportunity. We are looking for an energetic Assembly Shop Supervisor to join and lead the team.

Job Summary
As an Assembly Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the complete assembly and production function, from planning and scheduling component parts through to order and the fully assembled products. This includes organizing, maintaining and managing all aspects of the assembly process. This role requires an individual who is diligent, possessing excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform management tasks, such as appraisals, disciplinary objective setting, resource reviews and recruitment
  • Lead, plan and organize the team to meet the assembly requirements in line with the Production Schedule
  • Provide technical support on various stages of assembly
  • Train the team on new process and train new team members
  • Maintenance of the manufacturing processes and procedures, including improvement implementation regarding tooling, test and quality assurance
  • Ensure tools and consumables are replenished as necessary
  • Production Health & Safety aspects and ensuring assembly work is carried out to a high-quality standard



It is expected that you shall be an experienced supervisor, with a manufacturing/production background, have strong management skills, and a demonstrable record of lean improvements.

Job Overview


The Civil Engineer will support designs of concrete and steel structures for foundations, equipment, piping and building fabrication detailed design and construction..

Required to apply engineering techniques and analyses which may involve CAE/CAD applications.

Responsibilities

  • May function as discipline Project Engineer on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.
  • May plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major engineering unit or project requiring a large-scale expenditure of manpower and financial investment.
  • Leads other Engineers and design personnel in technical excellence and growth in the Quality Improvement Process.
  • Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
  • Ensures compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations, providing the seal and signature of the professional engineer when required by statute or contract.
  • Prepares material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions; reviews supplier data; witnesses shop tests, assists with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develops operation and maintenance plans; develops standard operating procedures; prepares O&M manuals and may conduct on-site training of personnel.
  • Conducts surveys, studies, and site investigations.
  • Performs reliability, availability, maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses.
  • Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
  • Helps determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. May assist with other administrative and technical duties.
  • Recommends and prepares technical papers.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.



Experience / Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree
  • 10 years of experience in civil design of petro-chem facilities
  • Experience of both greenfield / brownfield Projects desirable
  • PE license preferred
  • Proficient user of AutoCAD.

Job Overview


The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical and daily operations support, as well as troubleshooting processes. This position recommends, develops, and implements improvements to streamline and advance practices.


Responsibilities

  • Develop Electrical deliverables for all phases of a project including: conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design.
  • Develop the design of medium and low voltage facility power distribution systems from the electric utility interface point.
  • Develop the design of miscellaneous Electrical systems such as lighting, grounding, electrical heat tracing, fire alarm, public address, security, card access, etc.
  • Develop typical Electrical engineering and design drawings such as: single line diagrams; power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and other systems plans; electrical area classification plans; electrical equipment arrangement plans; cable tray layout plans and sections; conduit and cable schedules; motor control schematics.
  • Participate in the development of Electrical engineering and design effort hour estimates, material takeoffs, and construction cost estimates.
  • Participate in the development of Electrical construction bid packages.
  • Participate in procurement activities associated with Electrical systems and equipment. Procurement activities include preparing technical data for inquiry packages, preparing technical bid evaluations, and review of vendor drawing and document submittal reviews.
  • Perform construction administration activities such as contractor submittals review, respond to requests for information (RFI), site reviews, and inspections.
  • Perform inspections of Electrical installations and Electrical equipment for conformance with engineering documents, equipment specifications, and safety standards.


Experience / Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience with experience on petro-chem facilities
  • Must have experience using AutoCAD for designs.
  • PE License is preferred
  • Working knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and applicable Electrical Codes as well as applicable Industry Codes and Standards (e.g. IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISA).

Job Overview
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing both the EPC and various sub-contractors for the Owner/Client on a major petro-chem Project in the Gulf Coast region. Will be responsible for assisting with the PMT (Project Management Team) in all aspects of contracts administration.


Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day contractual needs for the EPC and various subcontractors
  • Advise the PMT on all contract matters
  • Review and ensure accuracy for all invoices submitted for approval
  • Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
  • Deveop RFP's and oversee process
  • Maintain supplier relationships and act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all contractual matters

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree - Preferably in Supply Chain / Engineering / Construction / Business

Responsible for the design, inspection and maintenance of various mechanical equipment. Role will be be heavily involved with the facilities engineering and mechanical integrity teams for the Project - The role will also involve providing some Project Engineering / Project MGMT support for various Project groups.


Responsibilities

  • Act as SME (subject matter expert) for all mechanical equipment (rotating and static) on Projects and provide technical support for various Project groups.
  • Implement, and manage, inspection and maintenance schedules / strategies
  • Work closely with the Ops & Maintenance Groups in order to provide FMEA / RCA reports and suggestions
  • Estimates costs for engineering & construction projects

  • 8-10 yrs experience in an operational refinery / petro-chem facility
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment (turbines)
