  • Designing, building, testing and documenting software and web applications in Python o Support formal testing and resolve test defects
  • Create services and applications utilizing various programming languages
  • Identify production and non-production application issues
  • Support the Reservoir group on a day to day basis, identifying and optimizing inhouse written software libraries
  • Help on presentation logic and organization of job data o Implement and develop new ways to visualize well data
  • Need to have MSc or similar in computer science, engineering or a related field. o Experience with Python.
  • Experience with concurrent programming and parallel computing
  • Experience with scipy/numpy stack (Bokeh also would be a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, bash scripting, Docker containers.
  • Advantage to have Experience in C/C o
  • Experience implementing web services and APIs in Python.
  • Experience with web development and maintenance tools, JavaScript, css and backend
  • Good understanding of data formats and transfer technologies such as AJAX, JSON, XML and RESTful services.

  • Oversees the development of the project scope, schedule, capital cost estimate, execution planning, risks and supporting information related to assigned facility projects.

thi sposition is a contract role located in Duluth, Minnesota

Functions include:

  • Assist Construction Manager and Spread Manager to ensure the work gets done in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Interpretation of specs and standards as questions arise
  • Responding to RFIs
  • Hydrotest plans, setup, inspection and documentation.
  • Scheduling Caliper tool runs, review of data, and coordination of digs
  • Coordination of DCVG inspection and associated digs
  • Concrete testing oversight, scheduling and concrete mix design review
  • Review of Contractor plans: Coating, lowering in, etc
  • Review and approval of design changes (workspace and alignment)
  • Coordination with Facilities Engineering and Construction
  • Cooridination with Operations as needed
  • Coordinate with Environment to understand and support permit conditions
  • Coordination of CP inspection activities
  • Coordination with contractor bending engineer as needed
  • Review welding and pipe defects when issues arise
  • Monitor quantities being used (pipe, bends, etc)
  • Assist office and field staff with electronic forms and reporting requirements
  • Assist Field Contract Admins with UPI's and contract requirements.
  • Communicate issues and lessons learned with project team.
  • Work week: 6-7 Days per week during peak construction
