**JOIN THE PETROPLAN TEAM** In this Group Financial Controller role, you will be managing the full financial control function as well as overseeing & developing your team. Managing, leading & developing a team of 4 people (as well as outsourced staff) covering financial accounting, Treasury, Credit Control & Compliance Managing suppliers, purchase ledgers, external payroll provider and liaising with external providers for tax regimes Overseeing the external audit, year-end consolidated accounts & full audit information packs Ensuring robust credit checks are performed for new clients and the DSO, Cash collections & aged debt targets are in place. Leading & manging; all aspects of global taxation, process and control improvements for all areas of responsibility, UK Compliance policy, all UK & global statutory reporting requirements Setting up & maintaining revenue forecasting and detailed cash flow forecasts Driving high quality balance sheet reporting and controls Controlling, managing & reporting of the group's working capital Actively participating in Key Accounts Teams together with any ad hoc financial tasks/projects What we need: The successful candidate will have proven experience in being a Financial or Group Financial Controller. Recruitment company experience would be advantageous. Ideally you will need to have the below: ACA, ACCA or FCCA qualifications and a strong academic record People management experience while also being a good team player Strong technical knowledge to support statutory accounts preparation so we welcome Audit backgrounds or UK GAAP. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills while proactively approaching problem solving Ability to challenge the status quo with experience of undertaking analysis & initiating change International company exposure, including demonstrative experience of a focus on delivery Will need to hold permanent working rights in the UK prior to applying Please note that due to the number of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted back.
