Job Description

KEY OBJECTIVES
Responsible for Hydraulic Workover rig supervision for the workover re-completion and abandonment of COMPANY Sarawak, or Sabah workover and abandonment programs.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Day to day supervision of hydraulic workover operations.
• Responsible for the execution of the overall workover program and wellsite activities in accordance with the approved program, procedures and practices in the most efficient, safe and cost-effective manner. Constant communication and liaising with the workover engineers to ensure workover operations in accordance to well plan/objectives.
• Responsible to plan and priorities workover activities and allocate resources accordingly.
• Responsible for management of service company personnel on board.
• Responsible for management and liaison between COMPANY and Hydraulic Workover Contractor.
• Responsible for management and liaison between workover team and platform PIC.
• Responsible for management and liaison between COMPANY and Captain of the Accommodation Barge (AWB).
• Responsible for cost monitoring and tracking on board the Hydraulic workover rig.
• Responsible for documentation of workover activities including work permits, well handover documents, JSAs and etc.
• Responsible for managing logistics to support daily workover activities.

KEY AUTHORITIES
As provided/assigned by Head, Well Services Section and Head of Well Operations Department.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

General

• Coordinate with the workover engineers on the well plan and objectives.

Specific

• Coordinate and supervise daily workover/re-completion/well intervention of workover (HWU) rig operations in accordance with the well plan/objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Qualification: Certificate in engineering or equivalent, OR acceptable Working Experience in Workover operations and Well Interventions. Valid IWCF Well Control Certificate
• A minimum of 12 years' experience in Completions, Workover and Well Intervention operations.
• At least have 5 years in Superintendent/Wellsite Leadership position or managing well operations.
• Experience with a workover unit or Hydraulic Workover Unit is a must.
• Must have valid Well Control Certificate at Supervisor Level.
• Had supervision experience in at least one of the following work scopes; slickline, wireline or coiled tubing.
• Experience in Deepwater completion/ workover operations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Familiar and have experience with drilling software for daily reporting i.e. WellView, OpenWell and etc.
