Aviation Safety Advisor

Job Description

Petroplan are seeking an Aviation Safety Advisor to work in Qatar for a major Oil and Gas client of ours.

This will be a permanent staff role on site in Qatar.

Full package on offer.

Primary purpose of job Helicopter operations is one of the highest risk offshore activities.

In order to ensure the risk for all joint air operations in Qatar is kept to an acceptable level, the Aviation Safety Advisor shall be responsible to oversee Quality Assurance, Safety and Compliance of the aviation contractor, as well as conformance of helidecks to applicable regulation.

Experience & Skills

• Expert knowledge of aviation safety management systems.
• 3 years' experience within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experienced and Certified Lead Auditor.
• Accident Investigators qualification (Aviation).
• Education - Extensive experience in Aviation either as aircrew or engineer, helicopter background preferred
