Principal Building Services Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the design, engineering analysis and specification development for building services systems on Offshore oil and gas platforms or facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and project requirements.
Identify potential risks, opportunities for improvement and cost-saving measures.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including process, structural and mechanical engineers, to seamlessly integrate building services systems into overall facility designs and layouts.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification is preferred.
Minimum of 13 years of experience in building services engineering with a focus on design within the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 7 years specifically in offshore projects.
Demonstrated expertise in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and other building services systems, including proficiency in relevant software tools and engineering codes/standards.
