Job Description

Our Client, a leading provider of American-produced LNG, is looking for a Coordinator, OFE Contract, who will report to the Director, Contract Management. This position will be located in Arlington, VA.

The role involves providing a comprehensive contract management function for the assigned areas of the project, which may include negotiation of terms and conditions, preparation of change orders, and maintenance of budgets and changes. Additionally, the position oversees, facilitates, and ensures performance of responsibilities in accordance with Company and Project Guidelines and Procedures.

Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to the overall leadership and commitment to OFE Contract Management performance.
  • Maintain timely awareness of Contract Measurement and Performance requirements against baseline; analyze potential changes; recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the Change Management process and ensure impacts are incorporated into cost and schedule forecasts along with contingency positions.
  • Agree project arrangements for managing expenditure authorizations with cross-functional groups, i.e., Finance, Accounting, Management, etc.
  • Monitor and review element of contractor performance throughout the contract life cycle; recommend corrective action where necessary.
  • Control and coordinate communication to and from Company and external groups.
  • Facilitate sharing of data and analysis between Company and external groups as necessary.


Responsibilities:

  • Review and be familiar with all Company's contracts and contract performance requirements.
  • Prepare regular and timely progress reports relating to current and project Contract performance by Company's contractors for circulation to management and other stakeholders.
  • Populate and update Company's project monthly report and submit other progress information as requested for management reviews.
  • Prepare contractual elements of bid specifications and review tender submissions prior to the contract award.
  • Review contractor monthly reports and assess compliance with Contractual requirements for information and equipment supply.
  • Ensure the capture of project close-out information to improve contract management requirements for future opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project controls in an engineering design setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand a demanding, technical, and complicated project execution program; and the ability to communicate progress and issues to a technical and management-level audience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate complex issues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, EcoSys, and Primavera P6 along with other Project Controls tools.
