Job Description


Our client is seeking an Renewable Energy Senior Project Manager for their Seattle office. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic team player with fifteen plus years of project management, design, and construction experience in alternative energy (wind, microgrids, battery storage, EV/Fleet charging, etc.). Our client's office offers a small firm work environment with large firm opportunities.
You would report directly to a local office Department Manager, but you would also be supporting the Corporate Energy Storage Manager across all 22 of the client's offices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in: engineering for a variety of projects involving electrical utilities, battery storage facilities (Enclosures, cubes and Building solutions), energy projects, power projects, wind projects, microgrids, renewable energy, and, overseeing subcontractors and coordinating multifaceted multidiscipline projects. Candidates should have experience leading a multidiscipline team of engineers and designers. Candidate should also have desire and expertise in business development to bring in projects and new clients to our client.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or sciences
  • Certified PMP and PgMP in Project management
  • Project or Construction Management experience in the specified industries and sectors
  • Business development experience
  • Project permitting management experience
  • Ten plus years of experience in a mix of Renewable Energy, or electrical energy industries
  • Ability to lead a multidiscipline engineering team
  • Ability to provide peer review of designs
  • Ability to develop proposals, execution plans and technical engineering reports
  • Experience with total installed cost development
  • Ability to communicate with client/stakeholders effectively
  • Reading and reviewing project drawings including plans, sections, bills of materials
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Travelling to provide support at job sites and to other offices (less than 25% of time)
