Role:

JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the AIM Team Lead, the Field Document Controller has a primary focus on managing technical documentation and records (both electronic and hard copy). This includes management and population of the engineering data management systems (EDMS) repository with content and metadata, as well as interfacing with internal and external clients to provide support and guidance with respect to the overall IM process.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Main contact point for all AIM coordination support for designated area within FHO projects, C&SU, MOCs and Turnaround team
  • Main Contact with the stakeholders including CFTs, Reliability, Base plant & FH drafting using good interpersonal, written and verbal communication
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments while meeting requirements of Service Level Agreements
  • SME or super user of EDMS while providing coaching/ support on these tools
  • Interfaces with team members, MOC leaders, CFT and Contractors to ensure compliance to
  • standards, procedures and protocols
  • Coordinates AIM action items to ensure completion
  • Perform and interpret Audits on data to identify quality and completeness
  • Consulted as required to provide feedback /continuous improvement on applications and systems that influence effective management of asset information
  • Consulted as required on the development of work instructions or QRG's for the department
  • Provide input and support as needed for corporate initiatives
  • Coordinate work with team lead to support any MP/MOC/EP/Turnover team for any efforts as required for turnover of engineering deliverables including Basic Project Records (BPR) into the EDMS per AIM Standards
  • Assist in preparing AIM KPI's or stewardship
  • Responsible to perform AIM activities to close out MOC's or BU projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in document or information management or similar field
  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from an accredited institution
  • 5 years Field Document Control, and Records Management experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry

Main responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chad Health, Safety, Security, Environment & General Services Manager, the Ops Health, Safety & Environment Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Provide Health and Safety oversight on both the construction and production activity set at the Field Operations.
  • Provide clear, consistent and quality Health and Safety information, advice, guidance and monitoring services to the Field Management Team.
  • Function as the Health and Safety compliance gatekeeper providing verification that all relevant Health and Safety best practices; policies and procedural expectations are realized, while promoting a culture of continuous risk management.
  • Mentor, monitor and audit the effectiveness of the Permit to Work System on site ensuring appropriate risk assessment and isolation's are in place for Control of Work.
  • Managing Health and Safety matters through the effective use of resources to achieve the project's Health and Safety goals and objectives.
  • Communicate pertinent best practice, lessons learned, safety & environmental alerts.
  • Manage all aspects of the Safety Observation Program.
  • Support contractors to implement toolbox talks, safety meetings, training, competency standards, drills and exercises.
  • Providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to local Health and Safety personnel in the delivery of the project's health and safety expectations and to ensure their development.

Experience and/or educational requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years health and safety experience in oil and gas production.
  • Formal qualification in health and safety, e.g. University technical degree or NEBOSH IGC (Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant strong experience.)
  • Experience of operating in a field based processing/production operations environment, with good understanding of process safety hazards and the safety critical controls required to manage process safety hazards.
  • Evidence validating track record of presenting information to managers and staff.

  • Experience with HSE management systems development and evaluation.

Detailed Description:

  • Experience in Emergency Response as part of an Emergency Response Team within Production Operations & Maintenance (on-shore & off-shore).
  • Competent in the preparation of commissioning planning and reporting documentation
  • Competent in understanding and explaining related documentation (P&ID's, Piping isometric drawings, construction plans, Plant integrity and inspection procedures and planning, installation and start-up of rotating equipment (centrifugal, & PD Pumps, Prime-movers, Diesel and Gas reciprocating engines), Gas compression facilities, Fired heaters, Vessels and associated process isolation Valve systems
  • Competent in troubleshooting and interrogating rotating equipment performance.
  • Track record in developing and working within matrix-type functional support organisational structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and in a remote fast-changing developing environment.
  • Experience within oil/gas field operations and/ or project based facilities development covering well sites, gathering systems and manifolds, testing facilities, production facilities and production operations, in a multi-national commissioning operations team.
  • Experience with plant upgrading and general process optimisation.
  • Supervises the assigned discipline Mechanical commissioning technicians as required. The position also requires the 'on the job' training of junior trainee Technicians in accordance with the company Competency Assessment & Assurance training plan in conjunction with the Maintenance/ Production and Training Departments.

  • Build and maintain the project work breakdown structures, and the project network and activities in SAP

Our client who is a leading Oil and Gas Operator are currently looking for a RBA Auditor for a 2-month contract. This is position is based in Fr McMurray and will require a local candidate. No camp or flights will be provided.

Key Accountabilities

  • Daily monitoring and auditing of vendor charges includes tracking, analyzing and processing vendor submitted charges.
  • Proactive investigation of causes of variances between estimated and actual amounts and recommend solutions or recovery plans.
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and provide guidance to stakeholder(s).
  • Provide support to the Turnaround Cost Analyst(s) and advise on any cost objects that that require prompt attention.
  • Maintain and support weekly reporting requirements including project cost reports and weekly KPI requirements.
  • Support project closeout including identifying areas for improvement, clean-up of outstanding items, communicating lessons learned, and preparation of closeout reports.



Required Qualifications

  • Two to Five years of experience in audit and/or time entry
  • Oil and gas industry experience is preferred
  • Business or technical degree or diploma
  • Project, accounting or cost designation preferred but not required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, manage conflict and decision making processes to optimize outcomes is key to success in this role
  • Ability to successfully work under tight deadlines
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • SAP experience preferred but not required

Technical Support - Contract role - ASAP to end of the year.

This is a project role assisting with commissioning and QA work
Testing servers and providing technical support during the project
Some script writing or programming as needed
Assist with trouble shooting and maybe debugging

To be considered for this role you will need to have Windows and Linux OS experience, some programming/scripting skill being a plus. Also knowledge of electronic hardware.

Document Control Analyst
Contract: 2 years
Location: St. John's, NL
Responsibilities

  • Interface with clients to manage documents and records for East Coast business clients according to documentation and records management standards, procedures and protocols
  • Populate the electronic document and records management system including technical and non-technical documents
  • Initiative electronic workflows
  • Ensure the document and records management standards, processes and procedures are understood
  • Respond to requests for information by performing request analysis and investigation both internally and externally
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory environment in East Coast
  • Provides guidance to the East Coast Business teams on matters relating to document management
  • Run reports to provide statistical and general documentation/record information to clients



Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in information management or similar
  • 10 years engineering, vendor document control and records management experience; preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to develop and maintain document and records management standards, processes and procedures taking into consideration client feedback
  • Understanding of document and records numbering and coding procedures and the inherent intelligence contained within document/record numbers
  • Working knowledge and understanding of electronic and physical information workflow and life cycles
  • Experience dealing with suppliers of goods and services with respect to documentation deliverables
  • Knowledge of document management systems. Documentum would be an asset.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities, ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent requests
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive teamwork approach with cross-functional partnership and collaborative approach
