Role Summary / Purpose
? Working as part of a team and managing all business development activities in the
assigned country. This includes developing the strategy for growth and sales
positioning, forming strong personal relationships with client's partners and other
divisions of CLIENTS' Oilfield Services at all levels internally, within the CLIENTS' Group, and
with external clients.
? Specific targets revolve around General management, Business growth, Marketing &
Sales in a specific geographic area, Contract negotiations, JV with other suppliers,
New market entrance, recruiting and staff development.
Essential Responsibilities
? Strong business development, organization, managerial and communication skills.
? Ability to work independently and to to lead a team.
? Developing and maintaining customer and stakeholder relationships at the highest
levels in client organizations.
? Developing full understanding of customer and market needs / opportunities /

Qualifications / Requirements
? Must have over 10 years' experience in the Oilfield with Wireline sector.
? Must have 5 years in a management and sales role.
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institute or university, preferably
in Math, Physics, Geology, Geophysics, or Engineering.
? Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills.
? Ability to take the initiative and work unsupervised.
? Good interpersonal skills and presence.
? Language skills are an advantage.
? Excellent written and spoken English.
? Good negotiation skills.

Sr Contract Engineer

Senior Contracts Engineer

  • Develop the required Contracts by Company from initial phases up to award and signing of the Contracts by the parties.
  • Administers all the applicable Contracts (FEED, EPC, PMC and other Contracts) for the Project. Supervises and guides the Project Management Consultants engaged by Company in handling the contractual and commercial matters of the Project.
  • Acquires full knowledge and understanding of Company's policies, procedures and delegation of authorities, Contracts terms and conditions and liaises with the Company lawyers, as required.
  • Ensures that the relevant local and international regulations are followed by all the Contractors and Vendors.
  • Prevents and mitigates potential Contractor claims. Develops and implements work processes and procedures to address the risks posed by Contractor claims. Assures the timely involvement of all the discipline staff of the Project and Company lawyer and other relevant staff during the project execution and claims handling as required.
  • Seeks management guidelines in conducting duties and supports Contracts and Procurement Manager on all contractual and commercial issues to protect Company's interests.
  • Be in a state of readiness for any internal and external audit Programs Company may initiate at any stage of the Project.
  • Review the Project Procedures relevant to Contract development and administration function (e.g. Tender clarification, Variation Order etc. procedures). Follow up with Contractor until procedures are compliant with Project Requirements and are approved for use on the Project.
  • Obtain prior financial approvals for all commitments as required under the approved Financial Delegation of Authority.
  • Highlight any matters that will adversely affect the cost and schedule of the Project programme.
  • Liaise closely with the Company management at all stages on all aspects of procedures and activities to ensure that Company obligations and requirements are satisfactorily met on a continuing basis.
  • Interface between all stakeholders including Company Worldwide Departments to ensure that the Project needs are met in a correct and timely manner.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 -10 years of related experience, working for Contractors or Owner Organization in the Contract Development and Administration function.
  • Must have worked in the Contract Administration Function on at least one major Oil & Gas Project preferably executed on a Lump Sum basis.
  • Interfaces skilfully and with all concerned including internal and external personnel dealing directly or indirectly with the Project

* Responsible for transition of Camp occupants to new Camp
* Room reservation and reporting system

We are seeking an independent thinker with excellent contractual knowledge who will provide commercially viable solutions in support of Clients dispute strategy position.
You will be working closely with Senior Management, drafting formal reports, assembling documentary evidence and coordinating team members in investigations and evidence gathering, leading to the successful settlement of contractor's claims.
Candidate Requirements
Have preferably obtained MRICS and MCIArb membership status, or suitable equivalent, post-graduate legal qualification (LLM).
Minimum 10 years' international major multidisciplinary project experience in Refineries and in the onshore Oil and Gas Industry, and possess strong analytical capabilities and able to demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive knowledge of various standard forms of contract, and contracts of a bespoke nature.
  • Specific claims and dispute resolution expertise.
  • Reasonable knowledge of planning software.
  • Providing independent dispute resolution advice and solutions for clients, owners and contractors
  • Have worked in a client or contractor environment with demonstrable experience of personally representing and drafting reports suitable for arbitration or litigation proceedings
  • Ability to interface with DRPIC's contracts management personnel and contribute to the overall project management.


The candidate should have handled at least 2 claims in the Oil and Gas industry in the past 5 years where each claim has a minimum value of USD 100 Million.
Must be mobile, flexible and have an excellent health record.

Key Responsibilities
Definition of Needs (planning Stage):
  • Together with the stakeholder & HC, identify the vacancies that the company needs to cover, the functions that derive from said positions and the profile that the candidates could meet.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the staffing needs and be able to describe the unique challenges at hand to potential candidates.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of best practices related to talent attraction and acquisition; apply this knowledge to improve existing policies, procedures and practices, ensure that the applicant tracking system is being utilized to its fullest capabilities and coach Hiring Managers and HR colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of robust strategies to attract, source and screen a high-quality pool of diverse candidates, leveraging expertise from the wider team.
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
Recruitment:
  • Create, implement, and manage SLA's and new hiring practices with hiring teams while still hitting quarterly goals.
  • Successfully manage, prioritize and close searches to achieve all SLAs including time to fill and "exceeds expectations" rankings in both candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates through pro-active sourcing and on-going relationship management.
  • Optimize the use of a variety of sources, including conventional media, internet technologies, social media, resume mining, referrals and other direct sourcing techniques to develop and maintain a database of qualified and diverse external and internal candidates.
  • Leads on the Recruitment & Selection process for graduate recruitment. This includes leading on employer branding initiatives with key educational institutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all day to day recruiting related activities and needs.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events (nationally or internationally).
Filtering of resumes & Verification Data:
  • Determining selection criteria,
  • Sourcing potential candidates through internal and external channels.
  • Filtering of curriculums, a fundamental step to avoid wasting time contacting those who are not qualified for the position.
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Filter the data and make a preselection of candidates with references to third parties (if required).
Interview, Election and Induction:
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
  • Conduct interview process with business unit and stakeholders including behavioural questions that reflect each position's requirements.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives.
  • Prepare final document for Business Unit & Talent Acquisition Manager approval of selected candidate for the job.
  • Coordinate pre-onboarding and onboarding processes for new employees.
Others
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external bodies such as The Ministry of Higher Education, Universities and the HR Sub-Committee; along with internal employees.
  • Provide advice and inputs in areas of Business Planning, HR Policies & Processes, Learning & Development, and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Lead or collaborate on talent acquisition projects.

Experience & Qualifications

Eligibility Criteria:
  • BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field CIPD Cert is desirable; MBA is a plus.
Minimum Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 - 8 years' total experience in full lifecycle recruitment, selection, and negotiation techniques in Oil & Gas Sector. Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in similar role, industry and high-volume recruiting experience.
  • Proven track record of driving talent acquisition using effective strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
  • Experience utilizing social media for recruiting purposes.
  • Ability to develop long-term recruitment strategies while executing on short-term priorities and/or accomplish critical milestones.
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility to manage and prioritize multiple searches.
  • Effectively communicate (written and verbal) to interact and interface with internal clients and external candidates.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office Suite, SAP, Taleo, Success Factors.
