Senior Wells Planning & Cost Engineer

Petroplan are looking to recruit a Senior Wells Planning & Cost Engineer to be based in Qatar on a permanent staff basis.

Drilling operations is essential, well site experience.

Experience in capital well costs, drilling pricing required as well.

At least 15 years oil industry experience in drilling and operations engineering with at least 5 years in a Drilling Operations


Engineering role with well site experience and 5 years in a supervisory role relating to drilling activities management, drilling contracts management.

At least 5 years mastery of budgeting and business planning, financial systems, variance
analysis, cost allocation and accrual process. All related to drilling & completions operations.

Expertise in international drilling industry pricing structures and standards in order to incorporate best pricing structure.


Understanding of contract and tendering procedures from preparing the tender to awarding the contract.

Strong negotiation skills to negotiate with contractors and others for all related contracts.

Excellent verbal and written skills in English with excellent computer skills.

We are helping them to find an experienced IT Auditor. This will report into the Internal Audit Manager. The role includes conducting all phases of an audit, evaluate policies, procedures and processes. Communicating findings, providing recommendations and assisting in supervising and training staff.

To be considered we are looking for CISA with a Bachelors degree. We are also looking for at least 3 years IT Audit experience. Big 4 experience is also preferred.

Topsides Project Controls Coordinator

This position will be accountable for the management and coordination of all cost, planning / scheduling, change management, project accounting, document control, risk and interface activities as well as project reporting for the Topsides scope and will be accountable for all progress measurement from a cost, schedule and quantity surveying perspective. In addition, this role will be accountable for the review and reporting on all aspect related to the Topsides scope, including, but not limited to Engineering, Construction, Hook-up and commissioning.

This role will also be required to develop and support the reporting requirement used to steward monthly scope, cost and schedule performed metrics and ensure proper maintenance of the cost and schedule elements within established guidance and work instruction documentation. Also supporting overall management of monthly program level reporting such as accruals, cost forecasting, progress measurement, trend analysis, change management documentation in compliance to established processes.

The successful candidates will support the Topsides Integrated team, Topsides Project Director, Project Services Director and Project Services Snr Manager and in addition, be required to provide leadership and ongoing direction to the Topsides project services team.

Primary Functions:

  • Management of Staff
  • Monthly Topsides reporting
  • Topsides Cost, Schedule and progress review and analysis
  • Ad hoc project reviews, analysis and progress assessment
  • Review and analysis of contractor and other reporting as required



Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer
  • P. Tech, Bachelor of Engineering or Business
  • Project Management Professional - PMP or Equivalent
  • AACEI Certification - CCP, CCT



Experience:

  • 10 years' experience in the management of Unit Rate, Bill of Quantities, Quantity surveying Contracts
  • 10 years in a project leadership / management position
  • 10 years' experience in project planning and cost management
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of project risk and interface
  • 10 Years of Fabrication and construction within the Oil and Gas industry
  • 15 Years of Major project experience



Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Primavera (P6)
  • Eco-Systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Superior organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities, follow up and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent business writing skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of company and external contacts
  • A self starter with a high degree of initiative and self motivation

The Opportunity

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Specialist Server & Storage to support the ongoing operations and maintenance of Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure and platform solutions.


What the role entails


  • Supporting the operations and maintenance of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), on-premises and cloud enterprise solutions
  • Supporting the operations and maintenance of the hosting facilities for Operational Technology
  • Providing subject matter expertise to managers and other staff on the development of practical solutions to complex problems involving IT and/or OT
  • Ensuring compliance to all processes and standards in delivery of services
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of relevant standards and procedures for relevant systems
  • Working with vendors and 3rd parties in the delivery and implementation of new solutions


What you will need for this role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 Dell PowerEdge, NetApp SAN, Dell PowerVault tape library, VMware, Symantec Backup Exec, and Commvault Backup.
  • Practical experience on working with external suppliers, vendors and 3rd parties
  • Ability to make decisions under time pressure
  • Some project management skills and ability to communicate at all levels within the organization


It will also be beneficial if you have:

  • VMware Certified Professional
  • VMware Certified Advanced Professional / VCAP-DCA
  • Microsoft Windows Server Certifications

Manufacturing Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:

  • 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Knowledgeable with ServiceMax, IFS or SalesForce is a plus
  • Program Management experience is a plus
  • MUST have advanced excel skills and working knowledge of Pivot Tables
