The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for supporting the efforts necessary for effectively communicating financial results and strategic business direction to the analyst and investment community. The successful candidate will work with the Head of IR to attract and retain long-term investors, encourage focus on long-term financial performance, and provide reliable and accurate information, all while strictly adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the creation of investor relations materials, including corporate presentations, the corporate profile, key messages documentation and Regulatory News Service Announcements
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance of the investor website
  • Building relationships with the analyst community, including attending meetings, review of models and acting as a point of contact for information requests
  • Collation and analysis of consensus data
  • Work with brokers to prepare regular peer bench marking analysis
  • Responsibility for Project Managing the Annual Report
  • Maintain the IR calendar. Responsible for organizing logistics for roadshows, conferences and analyst / results meetings
  • Review and prepare reports and analysis for outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, and changes to shareholder base.
  • Develop the Company's approach to ESG reporting, improve understanding of the key reporting requirements and ensure adherence

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree educated from a top twenty university. Post graduate qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CFA or overseas equivalent) preferred but not essential
  • 1-4 years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research / Finance or similar analytical and commercial facing role
  • Oil and Gas sector experience preferred
  • Financial modeling experience required
  • Highly literate in Microsoft Office

Asset Economist

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance for E&P, with specific responsibilities for the budgeting and forecasting for the wider Oil Asset group, the Asset Economist will sit within the Financial Planning and Analysis team in the Oil Finance division.


The asset economist will be responsible for assisting the Team with the valuation of assets, producing budgets, trackers and business planning models.


This role is suitable for someone who is post qualification with a good grounding of accounting or finance experience. The ideal candidate should have an existing understanding of traditional valuation techniques, and valuation metrics. They should be an expert user of Microsoft Excel and a proficient user of all other Microsoft packages. A high attention to detail is essential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


 Budget and business planning (focused around excel modelling with inputs provided by the business)
 Carrying out updates to Forecast Models
 Setting up cost trackers for the business
 Other ad-hoc duties as required
 Integral member of Oil Finance team


SKILL SETS


 Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and an expert at excel modelling
 Thorough understanding of traditional valuation techniques (NPV, IRR, Payback) and associated excel modelling using these techniques
 Ability to present outputs of analysis in easy to understand messages using Microsoft PowerPoint
 Understanding of corporate / company valuation metrics (discounted cash flows, comparable company multiples)
 Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
 Strong analytical and numerical skills
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 High standard of spoken / written English


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


 Relevant degree or equivalent relevant finance qualification is required
 Must have some post qualification accounting or finance experience
 Previous business planning experience is preferable
 Previous oil and gas experience is preferable
 An understanding of oil production sharing contracts is preferable

Treasury Analyst

Treasury Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Basic Purpose:

This position will be responsible for supporting the Treasury Department for key day to day functions of the cash management operations of the company. This role will also provide key analytical support and other financial performance metrics to the Treasurer and other functions. Planning and implementation of cash management projects as well as bank account, compliance and daily cash management, cash forecasting, and information requests are some of the essential functions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform cash management day to day activities including wire transfers, exception processing including positive pay, returns and deposit items and daily cash position reporting and updates for management
  • Manage and reconcile daily and 13 week cash positions and analyze variances in cash availability / forecasts and seek ways to improve projections
  • Administration and preparation of financial and operational compliance requirements
  • Review account analysis and resolve any fee discrepancies and provide solutions for cost savings
  • Assist with implementation of process improvements in cash management and other treasury initiatives
  • Provides oversight of the company's treasury accounting process and controls and adhering to policies and procedures
  • Complete ad-hoc assignments, including projects that are outside of treasury

Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of banking services, standards, best practices, clearing systems and payment technologies
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting with 5 years related experience. CTP credential is highly preferred
  • Must have a level of proficiency with internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs. Highly skilled in advanced Excel functionality
  • Experience utilizing banking platforms, treasury management or other financial systems preferred
  • SAP experience required and industry experience preferred
  • Project / structured financing experience preferred; knowledge of private equity financing experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills are needed to effectively communicate (written/verbal) with internal and external financial and accounting personnel and external vendors / banks
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, multi-tasking and ability to prioritize, organize, effectively manage time and work independently with little direction and oversight to meet deadlines

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • General accounting in accordance with applicable laws and accounting standards
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
  • Perform various account reconciliations monthly
  • Review and prepare all monthly accruals
  • Perform operating expense variance analysis and reporting for corporate
  • Ensure timely and reliable financial closing / statutory reporting

Perform a wide variety of inspection and quality control operations e.g. visual, dimensional, functional, and non-destructive techniques, to make necessary critical observations, tests, or completing appropriate documentation as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform inspections on components.
Perform source inspections at facilities.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
Review inspection records received for compliance.
Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR?s) for nonconforming parts.

Facility Specific Responsibilities:
Operate inspection machines and read the results of the tests.
Interpret the results of tests per the appropriate SOP.
Maintain daily log books.
Write testing procedures when applicable.
Verify certifications from vendors.
Comply with all departmental rules.
Maintain measurement and test equipment as required.
Utilize a wide variety of measurement and test equipment.
Find and evaluate NDE findings per the appropriate Standard Operating Procedure.
