Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for planning, oversee and coordinate maintenance of the facilities and utility equipment at offshore to ensure flawless operation of export/ import of crude oil.

Essential experience:

  • Plans, supervises, and directs the activities of subordinates to ensure it is carried out in a safe working practices and follows procedures.
  • Prepares maintenance Schedules for SBMs and utility equipment such as Swing ropes, Safety equipment, moorings, Positioning of moorings offshore, maintenance of Navigation aids etc.
  • Review SAP notification create work order for execution and update progress regularly.
  • Finalizes dry-docking list for all three SBMs with detailed Scope of work and estimated cost including all type of resources such as man, material, and location.

Qualifications:

  • Sc in Engineering/ Ship repair, H.N.D in Mechanical / Marine engineering, or 1st Class Motor D.O.T. Certificate of Competency or its equivalent as recognized by the I.M.O.
  • 10-15 year's relevant experience.
  • Hands on experience covering all aspects of SBM operations and related maintenance.

Job Responsabilities:

  • Become familiar with the Project Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
  • Carry out training on EDMS and Document Management processes, internally and externally
  • Co-ordinate and manage access and permission rights to the EDMS, in conjunction with Document Conrol Manager (DCM)
  • Provide support to the project teams on all Document Control matters
  • Attend Kick off Meetings with the External Providers
  • Maintaining the Package (Master Document Registers) MDRs
  • Monitor and issue (External Provider Document Register) SDRs to all External Providers

This is a 1 year contract position.

At the senior level of the construction project management family the focus of this position is to take on increasingly challenging assignments that support project requirements, be able to work independently, and able to coordinate the management team for execution alignment.

The primary focus of the Project Scheduler is to develop, detail, expand and maintain project schedules for one or more projects managed by the department. The planning and schedule development will be done in conjunction with other stakeholders within the project teams.


Specific Accountabilities:
Provides logistics/scheduling related technical support and manages project schedules to assigned internal client groups for planning, procurement, development, construction and maintenance activities by:

  • Adhering to enterprise scheduling standards for development and implementation of schedules, ensures standards are current, e.g., Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Updating, revising and detailing for schedules as projects progress through development and execution stages, e.g., updating the schedules based on earned-value data from the Field Construction Analysts and other sources of construction tracking and reporting information
  • Assist with interpreting performance of scheduled activities and communicating issues to the Project Manager, e.g., analyzing the impacts that schedule updates will have on baseline plans, ensuring resource requirements for schedules are incorporated at planning stages and continuously developed through the project lifecycle,
  • Developing and managing schedule performance indicators
  • Providing technical advice related to scheduling/planning/logistics. Developing detailed "what-if" schedules as requested to communicate options to the project team, identifying critical path elements and associated logic driven options, etc.
  • Representing the department by providing advice and coordination of internal projects and associated external activities, e.g., customers, partners, consultants, etc.
  • Providing technical and business advice on the preparation and disposition of documents required for project completion, e.g., providing reports, schedules, updates and input as required regarding scheduling and planning for the projects.
  • Interface with the various stakeholders on the project team and other key stakeholders to receive the information required for accurate and timely critical-path management of the project schedules.
  • Ensuring cost and schedule integration across all project controls systems.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Technical college diploma or university degree in a related field
  • 7 - 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Aptitude and communications skills related to acting independently as a senior logistics/scheduling professional
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Possess an aptitude for successfully building relationships with project staff, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expert level knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Experience with oil and gas construction projects

The Senior Contract engineer will be responsible for managing the contracting activities of the company.

Responsibilities:

Contract Tender Phase

  • Administer the tendering process to ensure the "due process" is respected and timely progress is achieved, including preparation and issuance of communication documentation with Tenderers, organization of tender clarification meetings, organization of tender correspondence, update of a register and filing, etc.:
  • Prepare the Call for Tender documentation and specific Tender and Tender Evaluation Procedures in line with Project and Company procedures.
  • Manage, monitor and control (in liaison with C&P entity) all required contractual process, ensure that all recommendations are made as per the best contractual and commercial terms
  • Ensure Project team are kept up to date with tender progress and developments, obtain any necessary attendance at meetings and obtain all necessary approvals.
  • Prepare clarification meetings with potential bidders during various stage of process
  • Validate Tenderer compliance with Bank Guarantee, Parent Company Guarantee requirements, Insurances and the like.
  • Evaluate contractual proposals and assist in evaluation of technical and commercial proposals where applicable.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Tender Recommendation Report and the Recommendation to Award.
  • Prepare final contract documents and obtain signatures for execution of the contract.
  • Manage close out the Pre-contract phase (e.g. notification of unsuccessful Tenderers, storage of tender documentation and correspondence, etc).


Contract Execution Phase

Post award, the Contracts Engineer is directly responsible for ensuring the Contracts assigned are executed in accordance with the agreed contractual terms and conditions and that Company interest is protected at all times:

  • Provide advice to the Company representative on contractual issues, and prepare / validate all contractual correspondence.
  • Handle Contractor claims, prepare counter claims - liaise with Project team & HQ as necessary

* Lead coordinating role for all Lands & ROW matters pertaining to the pipeline right-of-way which includes leading the negotiations & settlement with landowners/public agencies
* Be accountable for documenting and supporting land related issues, management and disposal of Land/Land Rights, mitigating negative environmental impact, public relations with private and corporate landowners & tenants, negotiation of damage claims, and interface with Regulatory Agencies
* Represent the Company to outside stakeholders along the pipeline ROW within the project coverage. This includes but not limited to landowners, municipalities, government agencies, conservation authorities, various associations and the general public

MUST HAVE qualifications:

* Qualified land professional with a minimum of four years of related right-of-way experience in progressive roles
* Proficient understanding of the legal issues related to land acquisitions and easements in operating area
* Ability to interpret applicable legislation, regulations and processes. Equivalencies considered.
* Must be familiar with, and have the ability to interpret legal plans, legal documentation, titles, deeds and engineering drawings
* Proficient with current information technology including Microsoft Office suite of software, land databases, and geographic information systems (GIS)
* Effective problem solving, project management and decision-making skills
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Expertise in influencing and negotiating in sensitive situations
* Demonstrated ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders to achieve business goals
* Excellent interpersonal skills and initiative in dealing with a variety of external and internal customers and stakeholders (regulators, lawyers, industry, government, landowners and internal departments)
* Team-oriented, positive attitude, self-driven and able to work independently
* Ability to communicate effectively, show flexible decision making skills and use sound judgement to reach a positive outcome for all parties

* Valid Class 5 Drivers License

NICE TO HAVE qualifications:

* Knowledgeable in pipeline maintenance and operations and experience with landowner negotiations
* Professional Designation from the International Right of Way Association and/or equivalent designation and/or other real estate or land related background

Working Conditions:
* 50% travel, will need access to own vehicle
* Occasional OT and on-call based on project request
* working remotely to start; expectation to be on client site
