Territory Manager - Calgary
An established Canadian manufacturer of industrial products requires an experienced salesperson to oversee the greater Calgary area in both a Sales and Project Manager capacity. This job requires someone to not only be on the road actively increasing current sales figures but also overseeing installation projects to completion.
This role requires:

  • An individual with a strong sales drive and understanding, along with the ability to develop new business and broaden current projects scope.
  • Management of installation teams to complete works in a timely and effective manner.
  • Working with Estimating to assist in the preparation quotations.
  • Creation work schedule and budget management to maximize project profitability.
  • Resolve technical issues related to the engineering design and equipment procured for facilities.


Experience:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents including bid specifications and drawings.
  • Results oriented individual with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and time lines.
  • 3- 5 years in sales, a knowledge and understanding of project management would be an asset.
  • Third level degree in Business/Engineering/ or relevant field is considered an asset.
  • Full clean drivers license.

Petroplan are looking for experienced Base Oil Traders for an exciting opportunity working for a leading global fuel reseller. More information can be seen below:

Skills/ Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Oil Trading experience
  • Bachelors Degree Preferable
  • Proactive Team Player with good attention to detial and great communicaiton skills
  • Excellent sales skills and driven mentality
  • Additional language beneficial

Responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate between the clients and suppliers, execution of trade deals with optimized margin from enquiry stage, negotiation, closing the deal, deal confirmation and monitoring the deliveries.
  • Business development by adding the new customers and / or broadening activities with existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the various clients and suppliers noting any special requirements onto internal system.
  • Resolve any queries/discrepancies following Group Policies & Procedures.
  • Track market movements, analyse oil trends & keep up to date on financial news.
