Senior Electrical Field Engineer - Site Shift

Job Description

Petroplan are looking to hire a Senior Electrical Field Engineer - Site Shift for a major client of ours in Leixlip Ireland.

You will supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment in Global Operations production facilities.
You must be familiar with the electrical equipment in the facilities served, ie nduction and synchronous motors, protective relays, switchgear, starters, control systems, transformers, generators and distribution systems.
The Electrical Field Engineer has a very fast paced position. Field Engineers are expected to respond to Operational requirements on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis. For this type of work the field engineer must be completely flexible and readily available

                •         Best suited to someone with 10-15 years post apprenticeship experience
                •         Ideally heavy industrial electrical experience
                •         Ideally at the level of electrical HV/LV authorisation
