Job Description

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
HSEQ

  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project engineering risks.
Leadership
  • Team Management: Lead and manage engineering team of engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure adequate staffing, tools, and materials are available for efficient project execution.
Work Processes & Systems
  • Monitor construction progress and day-to-day operations of the engineering department to ensure work complies with time, budget, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Standardization of engineering processes and workflows.
  • Evaluate and improve work processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards, project specifications, and Company protocols.
  • Oversee accurate and timely reporting of Project data, including progress, costs, and quality metrics.
  • Leveraging technology and software tools to streamline project management and
Excellence
  • Responsible for continuous improvement, performance monitoring, and quality assurance.
Technical
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving for complex engineering challenges.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility, design accuracy, and compliance of field engineering tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Coordinate with other technical departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks that could impact project success.
  • Provide clear and actionable updates to management regarding project progress, challenges, and financial performance.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role. 
  • Knowledge of process and system design tools and procedures.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks and/or priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, and other required computer applications/software.
Qualifications 
  • 5 or more years of experience in Engineering role.
