Job Description
Petroplan is seeking an Insurance Risk Manager on behalf of an established client in the energy industry.
The Insurance Risk Manager will be in charge of the policies and procedures of the company including its development and implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Find major risk exposures and effectively minimize the cost of risk
- Work with development, construction, and operations teams to identify any risks
- Collaborate with legal, finance and operations management to implment insurance programs
- Negotiate and review contracts for insurance terms and conditions
- Support and evaluate project development activities
- Coordinate with project teams and with insurance market participants
- Support the insurance budget process and communicate fluctuations to the finance department
- Work with insurers, adjusters, brokers and other relevant third parties to manage open insurance claims
- Be up to date with new risk management issues/products
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 10 years experience in insurance and risk management
- Experience with large construction/ marine projects
- CPCU or ARM certification a plus
- Project finance familiarity
