We have partnered with our trusted client that is looking for an Document Controller.

 
Position Overview:
 
The Site Document Controller is responsible for portfolio document management and records.
 

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Perform Document Control activities for the assigned Project Team including the management of all drawings, correspondence, internal documentation, final project documentation, and all project related documents
• Implement procedures and work processes
• Basic understanding of DFO (Documents for Operations) requirements
• Respond to Project queries and status requests
• Research and maintain awareness of DC standards and business best practices for project documentation
• Deliver efficient, effective and secure management of documents and Project Team support that includes document capture, quality assessment, rejection as applicable, coding, updating, review routing, distribution to ensure that project documents adhere to the documentation requirements (name, revisions, review and approved, etc.)

Qualifications 

• 5 or more years of experience
• Experience in Oil and Gas / EPC / LNG
• Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role
• Experience supporting project teams with document control needs, managing electronic/hard copy filing systems, tracking document versions and revisions, and document distribution/transmittals/retrievals
• Advanced understanding of Engineering Technical Documentation (Types and Disciplines)
