Petroplan is working exclusively with a global energy company to staff an exciting LNG production and export terminal mega-project. We are recruiting a top caliber Field Project Engineer professional for a Full time position, based in Houston, TX who meets the following criteria.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
HSEQ- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Leadership?
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Resolve project engineering-related issues and conflicts.
Work Processes & Systems- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project engineering progress and performance, adjusting, as necessary.
- Manage project engineering documentation and records.
- Track project engineering expenses and manage project budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, as needed.
- Proficiency in project engineering software and tools.
Excellence- Conduct engineering reviews and implement best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Technical- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
- Ability to prepare and present project reports.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
Key Accountabilities- Plan, execute, and close engineering projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit project proposals and bids.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications - 5 or more years of experience in Engineering role.
