HSE Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Manager with an oil and gas company based in Denmark.

Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in subsea construction projects from 1st tier and specialist contractors is highly desirable.
  • 10 years in oil and gas / offshore enviroment.
  • Experience in the following is desirable ; offshore maintanence, ROV, Inspection, auditing, HSEQ Management systems, asset integritry.

Details on the role:

  • 80 % high level, framework development etc., and 20 % hands-on. The hands-on work will mostly be as a back-up for the dedicated project HSE advisors, but also to stay in touch with the operational world;
  • Travel: 60-90 days annually, initially to regional offices but also to areas where new opportunities arise;

Qualifications:
* Prefereably, you are trained as an incident investigator;
* Certifications such as NEBOSH, ISM Lead Auditor and/or ISO 18001 are advantageous;
* Experience with training of offshore crews is preferred but not required;
* You are proficient in English and possess strong IT skills.

Consultant - Operations - Nordics

Our Client's Operations practice is the largest functional practice area and are now expanding in the Nordics. As a result we are seeking outstanding candidates for its management consulting team. The role is based in the Nordics, with the location being in either Copenhagen or Oslo. However, the work can be global and international travel should be expected.

Ideal candidates will have passion for and expertise in Lean manufacturing and/or services, Procurement or Supply Chain across one or multiple industries. Worked in professional services or at a leading multinational company as well as in international team environments, with senior audiences.

As a consultant in the practice, you will use your operations knowledge and experience to manage large and complex components of projects. You'll work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with the team to transform client potential into performance.

Education and Experience

Masters' degree with outstanding academic achievement required; demonstrated top 5% of class from leading University (please enclose grades or proof of academic placement)

2-5 years of experience from either professional services (consulting) or from industry at a leading multinational company

Line and/or project management experience

Key competencies

Deep & recognized expertise in one of the following areas:

  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Services; Procurement; Supply Chain
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills -ideally with Big Data tools experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong presence & leadership skills
  • Fluent in English. Scandinavian language skills is a plus
