Senior Integrity Engineer (Pipelines)

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Integrity Engineer (Fracture & Fatigue) to be based within the Pipeline Group and operating in the London office, you will be specialising in the fracture and fatigue integrity assessment of pipeline welds and providing focused input to global projects.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • Carry out Pipeline Engineering Critical Assessment (ECA), fracture and fatigue assessment, detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry codes, standards and design guides, client specifications and scopes of work
  • Conduct advanced finite element analyses associated with subsea pipeline installation engineering
  • Write technical project documents (assessment methodology and analysis reports)
  • Perform checking of analysis work of peer ECA analyst
  • Lead project ECA activities and assess required resource adjustments
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines (material and welding, installation and pipeline design engineering), project team, client and 3rd party
  • Manage internal R&D study and engineering improvement projects as assigned
  • Provide ECA engineering support to Concept study, Tendering and FEED study execution
  • Consolidate group experience in discipline
  • Mentors and nurtures junior analyst
  • Actively participate in relevant training to pursue continuing professional development


PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Professional qualifications - Degree qualified or above
  • Track record in fracture mechanics and fatigue assessment of welds
  • Understanding of fundamental solid mechanics
  • Experience in ABAQUS for advanced fracture and fatigue analysis
  • Familiar with relevant structural integrity assessment codes (BS7910, DNV and API etc)
  • Be prepared to provide focused input to subsea projects and work to tight schedules working within tight deadlines set by management
  • Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role
  • Produces work of presentable quality
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work
  • A demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality
  • Shall be self-motivated and have well developed interpersonal skills to work

Role overview
Petroplan is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor in the South East to lead and carry out Risk Assessments on a range of low, medium and high-risk properties.

Key responsibilities: -
- Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in a wide range of buildings and sites
- Producing high quality Risk Assessment reports on the company's software system based on a Tablet computer
- Liaising with clients to ensure all information is collected to produce a comprehensive document.


Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the Water Treatment and Testing industry
- Specific experience of completing risk assessments on hot and cold water systems in a range of properties
- Infection Prevention and Control experience
- Candidates should ideally have a City & Guild qualification in Risk Assessment of water systems in buildings. But this can be arranged.
- Full driving license and an Enhanced DBS disclosure which the company will pay for.

Petroplan are looking to recruit a UKCS Principal HSE Consultant/Manager to join a London based team on a permanent basis.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to be part of the development of a dynamic and growing business.

As a minimum, candidates must hold a Bachelors (essential) and Masters degree (desirable) in a science related discipline, and have a minimum of 5-6 years relevant HSE consultancy experience in the offshore oil and gas sector.

Ideally candidates who have technical knowledge / experience of one of more of the following is great:

  • HSE Management Systems
  • UKCS permitting and consents management, including knowledge of the UK Oil Portal and BEIS Portal Environmental Tracking System
  • HSE Auditing
  • Offshore experience is desirable, but not essential.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of implementing and maintaining HSE management systems in the oil and gas industry and management of the ISO 14001 certification process
  • Knowledge of UKCS oil and gas regularly framework, industry standards and good international industry practice

The position has the following areas of responsibility:

  • Provide day-to-day HR business partner support to the Business Units in the UK, thus formal support in all HR matters as required by the Regional HR Manager and identified hosted HR departments. Senior Installation Analysis Engineer

A leading oil and gas client require a Senior Installation Analysis Engineer to join a growing engineering team. The installation analysis engineer will be responsible for delivering fit for purpose rigid pipeline installation engineering on projects or tenders with specific focus on safe and cost effective installation operations.

The Installation Analysis Engineer will oversee a team of installation analysis engineers, dealing with different pipeline installation methods (S&J Lay or Reel Lay) for part of a project or a tender and will work under the supervision of Lead Installation Engineer.

SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Manages a technical scope within the project team with associated engineers and drafting team
  • Manages the technical documentation related to the scope
  • Involved in conceptual studies
  • Performs installation analysis
  • Ensures that installation procedures and associated calculations are in line
  • Manages interfaces with subcontractors and internal clients as required
  • Ensures that specifications and norms related to the project are respected
