* 10-15 years' experience in analyzing data and trends, to make recommendations to the project team
* 10-15 years' experience in planning/scheduling
* 10-15 years' experience working in Major Construction Projects

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
* Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering
* Post-Secondary Diploma in Engineering or Construction
* P. Eng.
* Project Management Professional (PMP)
* Planning and Scheduling Professional Certification

Job Scope
Location: this is a monday- friday job based in Fox Creek no FIFO


  • Champion safe, and cost-effective preventative and loss management approaches in day-to-day pipeline and plant operations to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, standards, procedures, practices, etc.;

  • Work collaboratively with Operations management and staff to build a strong safety culture;

  • Conduct and/or review hazard assessments for higher-risk activities such as confined space entry and on construction projects. Provide on-site Safety and Emergency Management (SEM) assistance and ensure appropriate controls and resources are in place;

  • Assist in review, development and documentation of field procedures to ensure the clients operational activities meet regulatory and corporate requirements. Provide field reviews and task evaluations to verify procedures are implemented as required;

  • Perform or participate in various internal and/or external audits and reviews, including, but not limited to, ground disturbance, lockout-tagout, Certification of Recognition (COR), emergency management, Canadian Nuclear Safety commission, safety culture, etc.

  • Participate actively in area safety meetings and provide regular presentations on "Key SEM Topics". Follow up on the safety-related items identified at the meetings;

  • Review and assist with incident investigations, reporting and follow up to prevent recurrence;

  • Coordinate updates and development of SEM Standards and Learnings from Incidents;

  • Assist in the review, development and documentation of procedures and task analyses to ensure construction, maintenance and operational activities meet client and regulatory requirements;

  • Work with Project Managers to help establish and execute SEM project inspection requirements and activities. Liaise with third party project Safety inspectors and provide periodic SEM project oversight;

  • Review and assist with incident investigations, reporting and follow up;

  • Serve as the field SEM liaison for internal or external parties requiring field information or activities.



Qualifications
This position requires a background of safety expertise and/or extensive gas plant operations and/or maintenance experience


  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Safety related discipline within Gas Plant facilities.

  • Designation or completion of one of the following is an asset:

    • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (Canadian designation);

    • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate(s);

    • Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or Technical Certificates;

  • Strong knowledge of applicable industry safety requirements, standards, policies and procedures including those of OH&S, AER, NEB, OGC and CSA;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including an ability to interface positively with the field, and project personnel;

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and demonstrated aptitude working with other business related computer programs and applications;

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Job Scope
Working in a collaborative environment the team is responsible for coordinating and ensuring a high quality of all accounting, financial reporting, technical support and compliance services are delivered to all Business Units.
Working from Monday to Friday, you will report to the Manager Controllership and you will have the following duties:
Ensure compliance with adequate internal controls
Provide analysis of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial results that will serve for external and management reporting
Ensure inventory and sales figures are accurate
Partner with the Business Serv. & Support team to enhance financial services provided to the BU
Support the controllership function initiative to standardize and optimized its processes
Manage requests to/from various stakeholders
Provide the required information for internal & external audits
Support ad hoc projects or initiatives

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in accounting
Between 2-10 years of accounting experience
Accounting certification CPA or equivalent Knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) skills would be an asset
Very good business acumen and ability to interact effectively with colleagues
Bilingual English/French
Proactive and the ability to work independently
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
Good team player skills

RELOCATE TO CANADA -Shift Supervisor - Mine Operations

Our client is offering highly competitive relocation package (Visas, Relocation expenses, housing allowance etc.) for the right candidate. Relocation to Fort McMurray, Alberta where the position is based.

The Company
You will be working for a leading Canadian oil and gas company who are a leading player in the Canadian Oil Sands projects. They are investing heavily in new projects and new technology and are widely seen to be one of Canada's most attractive companies to work for.

The Job
Managing a team of around 20 people of multi skilled specialists, you will be responsible for ensuring mining operations such as bulk excavation, soil salvage, dyke construction and road building for heavy haulage are carried out efficiently and safely. You will be working with the Mining Operations Manager to monitor shovel pits, placement areas and haul roads and ensure necessary resources are assigned to ensure production targets are met.

The Individual
You will have extensive experience working within the mining sector including time spent in a superintendent/supervisory position focused on managing mining operations. At least eight years of heavy equipment operating experience. Mining engineers with practical field experience as a front line leader will also be considered. Computer proficiency, specifically in Modular Mining
The Schedule
The shift schedule is a six days on/six days off rotation (three days on, three nights on, six days off; 12-hour shifts). If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory
