Experience Required:
  • 5 years experience in Contract Management, Category Management, and Supply Chain Management with increasing responsibilities in various management roles.
  • Post-secondary business background preferred.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas industry preferred.


With respect to contributing to the Contract Management function:
  • Support contract management objectives to the annual objectives for the Offshore Services category in accordance with Supply Chain objectives.
  • Support development in the supply contract utilizing approved contract templates.
  • Develop tools outlining responsibilities in the contract to all relevant parties.
  • Provide feedback to the Category Manager with regards to negotiated outcomes as to acceptance within the environment.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to internal customers with regards to contract management activities.
  • Report all contract compliance discrepancies, highlighting repeat offences, to the Category Management Leadership team.
  • Respond to, and if appropriate escalate, all internal and external contract inquires.
  • Resolve issues escalated by users and / or suppliers as it relates to contract management and provide recommended solutions for issues requiring Category Management leadership support.
  • Manage the contract change request process when triggered.
  • Monitor contract expiry, notifying the appropriate Category Manager with sufficient notice in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage the contract close-out process for the respective supply contracts.
  • Manage the warranty claim process.
  • Monitor performance related to contract terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to contract terms.
  • Participate in supplier relationship management activities when requested.
  • Provide historical information related to a supplier(s) contract compliance and performance to the appropriate resources during the sourcing process.

Outside Technical Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a work from home position in Northern Alberta or willing to travel to Northern Alberta frequently
The Outside Technical Sales Representative will promote and secure the sale of pump and gas compressor products within the assigned market sectors. Market sectors include Municipal Water and Wastewater, Fire Protection, Heavy and Light Industrial and Commercial with specific account focus on EPC's, engineering consultants, mechanical contractors, end user accounts and OEM's within the assigned territory of Edmonton or Northern Alberta.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, qualify and secure sales opportunities for the companies represented products, including the appropriate packaged systems, in the prescribed markets and territory.
  • Develop, nurture and maintain close working relationships with the decision-makers in the assigned markets including consultants, operator/maintenance and contractors.
  • Influence and assist in preparing technical specifications for the engineering consultants on represented products.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with the Regional Sales Managers for represented products.
  • Provide market intelligence to Inside Sales during quote preparation.
  • Follow up and close quotes issued by Inside Sales.
  • Update and maintain internal sales tracking system on a regular and frequent basis.
  • Develop and maintain project activity reports indicating status ( i.e. pre feasibility, budget, RFQ)
  • Assist in developing yearly sales forecasts.
  • Conduct product/process lunch and learn sessions to the appropriate engineering firms.
  • Work directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, project pricing and special requirements.
  • Promote products at regional trade shows as required.
  • At least 3 years demonstrated ability to successfully sell the assigned products in this geographical area.
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and influence buying decisions
  • Technical education and background, C.E.T preferred.
  • A thorough and demonstrated knowledge of the processes involved in the Oil & Gas market place (Conventional - upstream/midstream and SAGD)
  • Superior and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills required for technical documents review and comment.
  • Better than average computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Superior organizational skills - a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a busy team.

Programming using GibbsCAM software, OKUMA Lathes, HAAS Mills
Communications between CNC' and its Operators,
Knowledge of CNC Tooling, including but not limited to inserts, boring bars etc.
Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales, reading of prints,
Program, Setup and operate CNC Centers and while ensuring the setup will produce the necessary quality throughout the production run and ensuring that setup and cycle times are adhered to,
Prove out, de-bug and give feedback on CNC programs, Document how jobs are setup, run and checked as thoroughly as possible,
Setup and operate secondary operations when cycle time of your primary machine allows, Setup and operate manual equipment as necessary, De-Burring Completed Pieces While CNC is Running its Operation, Changing Tooling within the CNC, Finished Equipment Handling for Inspection & Completion, Willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules, maintain all equipment as necessary,

Experience: Required, no less than 5 years with a knowledge of the Machining & Wireline industries
