Title: Operations Readiness Maintenance Advisor - LNG Project 

Petroplan is working exclusively with a global energy company to staff an exciting LNG production and export terminal mega-project. We are recruiting a top caliber Operations Readiness professional for an Operations Readiness Maintenance Advisor position, based in Houston who meets the following criteria.

Purpose

• This position is responsible for providing maintenance inputs to the design and execution strategies during the Execute Phase of the project.This requires close liaison with process, project and construction engineers so as to ensure that at Project Handover the Pro duction Teamreceive a facility that is operable and maintainable so as to ensure it can meet the needs of the Operating Unit by delivering safe, sustainable and reliable production.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

HSEQ & Process Safety

• Ensure implementation of HSE policies and procedures
• Ensure all project related activities are conducted within operational environment and compliance with safety Case, Environmental Plan and Operational Standards

Leadership

• External communications - Work effectively with Engineers / Maintenance Techs to resolve technical issues.
• Provide support, direction and assistance to Contractor Inlec/Mechanical/Service Technicians and Supervision

Excellence

• Ensure lessons learned are adopted where appropriate

Work Processes & Systems

• Provide input to the design team in forums such as; 30%, 60% and 90% model reviews, Project HAZOP & IPF reviews
• Responsible for attending to nominated FATs, E-SPIR reviews, RBI/s, RCM and SAP workshops as required
• Assist in the development of training documentation for the Construction / Commissioning phase.
• Deliver maintenance Start-up activities post RFU / RFSU of each system
• Development and validation of maintenance procedures.
• Provide assistance to project personnel with the ISSoW process ie preparation of permitry, isolations and risk assessments (eg HIRA)
• Assist with pre-commissioning and commissioning of new plant and equipment including performance testing and acceptance
• Assist in t raining and competency assessment of Project and Maintenance personnel to support Ready for Start-up (RFSU) and Operational requirements
• Assist in development and execution of Integrated Activity Plan (IAP)
• Responsible for 24/7 response to emergent maintenance as needed
• Perform site inspect ions and actioning queries from project office to the site
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure Operations and Maintenance outcomes are an integral part of design decisions.

• Solid understanding of systems and processes associated with discipline.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Drive to identify opportunities for improvement in work or maintenance practices
• Capability to operate maintenance systems (IT)
• Demonstrate commitment to safety
• ~ 5 years' experience on a similar facility (>10 years for Senior Role)
• Awareness in Process Safety Critical Role competency (Knowledge for Senior Role)
• Trade certificate
