Title: Senior Investor Relations Manager
Location: Houston, TX
 
Petroplan is working exclusively with a global energy company in search of a Senior Investor Relations Manager professional for a position, based in Houston who meets the following criteria.

Position Overview:
 
The Senior Investor Relations Manager will target and maintain investors across multi-billion markets, lead ESG stakeholder management and develop long-lasting external relationships with market analysts


 
Responsibilities:

• Delivery of the external engagements plan and calendar for global market, including CEO, Board and ELT investor meetings
• Lead IR-only as well as executive roadshows and investor conferences
• Responsible for ESG stakeholder plan and engagement, including shareholders, proxy advisors, activists and interface with Media
• Responsible for AGM preparation and engagements
• Prepare updates for CEO/CFO and Board and advise on on key risks of shareholder activism
• Prepare Board materials with benchmarks and case studies, supported by equity advisors
• Review tier-1 sell-side analysts models and reports on WDS and peer group
• Support execution of global investor events and reporting

Skills & Experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship skills - able to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
• Continuous improvement mindset 
• Demonstrated commercial thinking and attitude
• Ability to be an individual contributor plus be a strong team-player

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field - MBA/ CFA a plus
• 10 or more years of relevant experience (resource extraction and monetization)
• 10 or more years of relevant experience with valuation and modelng
• Investment banking experience a plus
