Responsabilities:

Management of operation and maintenance department and contracts
Prepare budgets and proposals under existing contracts

Warranty claims management
Assist in the preparation of P&L quarterly

Management of subcontracted companies
Engineering:
Monitoring of photovoltaic solar projects (through web platforms)
Contribute to the definition of solutions to problems identified in preventive maintenance / punch lists / planning of interventions
Assist the Engineering department in communication network studies
Identify production/data problems through indicator analysis
Database Administration (SQL and MySQL), data manipulation and visualization techniques;
Requirements:
Degree in Electrotechnical or Mechanical Engineering
Ideally: Experience in operation and maintenance in the photovoltaic solar area
Solid knowledge of networks and communications, from the perspective of implementer;
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and VBA

As a part of a growing in-house engineering team, the Electrical Engineer will bring a team player approach with vast knowledge of electrical engineering principles and experience. Will be responsible for developing conceptual designs within the Solar PV engineering design team. The role will fulfill the responsibilities for all aspects of engineering design, analysis, and development of new and advanced utility-scale solar PV systems. Be well acquainted with the latest design trends in the solar PV industry and have in-depth knowledge of local codes pertaining to large scale Solar PV systems.Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing preliminary and detailed design concepts based on engineering principles for solar PV system design.
Develop electrical engineering calculation tools to come up with cable, conduit, and other electrical equipment sizing based on project requirements.
Work with Estimating team to provide support with design concepts and design optimization of the solar PV systems.
Work with CAD designers to guide well-designed solar PV site layouts and single-line diagrams.
Develop and maintain the database for different equipment involved in solar PV design and improve from the same time to time.
Develop construction details and Bill of Material for various construction work packages within solar PV projects.
Develop design process from conceptual level to construable level for multiple solar PV projects.
Review Utility interconnection documents like Facility studies, interconnection agreements or Power Purchase Agreements.
Observe, record, and calculate contractual Utility PV Performance Testing & Commissioning obligations.
Apply innovative engineering principles for cost optimization of utility-scale solar PV systems, develop design matrices and maintain the same for future reference.
Provide support to the Procurement team and Project Engineers regarding any engineering-related issues or questions for specific projects.
Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
Requirements:
Develop expertise with modules, racking, inverters, and the drivers associated with the proper design of utility-scale solar PV projects.
Ability to understand manufacturer's design parameters, application limitations, and installation guidelines.
Familiar with creating engineered solar PV site plans and single-line drawings (DC and AC systems).
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and follow through on assigned tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
Able to work in a fast-moving environment while maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations.
High level of organizational skills and professionalism.
Professional Engineering License Preferred
3 years min. work experience in Solar PV Design or the construction industry.
5 Years' esperienze with Electrical Engineering and/or work related to Solar PV or any other Renewable Energy Construction projects.
Professional experience with Utility PV Engineering Contract deliverables in an EPC setting
Must be proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office.
Electrical engineering simulation software experience is a plus.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.

Education and Experience

Critically review and interpret EU and Italian environmental regulations;
Review agro-photovoltaic and onshore wind projects to be acquired or developed by determining environmental issues, permit requirements, and government-required environmental reviews needed for permits;
Assist PV and wind groups in assessing the environmental, cultural heritage, etc., restrictions and/or constraints potentially affecting lands according to the Italian regulation/law;

Construction Manager
Petroplan are pleased to be recruiting for a Construction Manager on behalf of a well-established European Developer with project development and pipeline in place across multi-European locations. The position will be based in Foggia, Tarquinia, Ferrara and it will be offered as permanent. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing and leading all the construction activities at the site. He will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all construction subcontractors with the aim to ensure the plant is connected on time while safety and quality standards are respected.
Main responsibilities
Studies deeply project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material purchase orders, and subcontract requisitions.
Reports project progress to the PM
If productivity is low and a schedule slippage is foreseen, develop, jointly with the PM a recovery plan.
Oversee, with the help of site engineers, subcontractor's installation works, checking installation's quality and adherence to the design. In case of major findings issue a nonconformity to the subcontractors.
In case of a contract violation by any subcontractor issue an official communication.
Reports daily about the material received at the site.
Overviews, inspects, and verifies quality and quantities of the materials delivered at the site.
Coordinate with the logistic assistant to hand over materials to the subcontractors.
Liaise, in collaboration with Procurement and Logistics departments, with suppliers to arrange the material deliveries.
For minor works/supplies, it is requested to the CM to find local suppliers. At least three offers need to be received. Technical/commercial conditioning needs to be done and results reported to the PM.
Monitors compliance with the client's technical requirements and all the applicable norms and standards.
Develop Project Quality plan and Quality Control Procedures in line with the client's requirements. Implements the project quality plan into the project.
In case of damages or accidents, jointly with HSE department, makes sure appropriate procedure are followed and adequate reporting is done.
Ensure final documentation is delivered by the subcontractors according to the client's standard.
Manage the site facilities from a technical and administrative point of view. Rent offices, provide the necessary utilities (water, electricity, internet), organize cleaning activities stipulating contract with local suppliers.
Ensure a smooth and efficient handover of the plant to asset-management department.
Liaise with DL and CSE where necessary.
Be nominated as safety responsible of the site ("preposto alla sicurezza")
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience
Must have experience in utility-scale Solar Power Plant
University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus.

Prior experience, even minimal, in drafting environmental impact studies, constraint analysis, and management of authorization procedures in Italy (experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus);

Construction Manager
Petroplan are pleased to be recruiting for a Construction Manager on behalf of a well-established European Developer with project development and pipeline in place across multi-European locations. The position will be based in Foggia, Tarquinia, Ferrara and it will be offered as permanent. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing and leading all the construction activities at the site. He will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all construction subcontractors with the aim to ensure the plant is connected on time while safety and quality standards are respected.
Main responsibilities
Studies deeply project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material purchase orders, and subcontract requisitions.
Reports project progress to the PM
If productivity is low and a schedule slippage is foreseen, develop, jointly with the PM a recovery plan.
Oversee, with the help of site engineers, subcontractor's installation works, checking installation's quality and adherence to the design. In case of major findings issue a nonconformity to the subcontractors.
In case of a contract violation by any subcontractor issue an official communication.
Reports daily about the material received at the site.
Overviews, inspects, and verifies quality and quantities of the materials delivered at the site.
Coordinate with the logistic assistant to hand over materials to the subcontractors.
Liaise, in collaboration with Procurement and Logistics departments, with suppliers to arrange the material deliveries.
For minor works/supplies, it is requested to the CM to find local suppliers. At least three offers need to be received. Technical/commercial conditioning needs to be done and results reported to the PM.
Monitors compliance with the client's technical requirements and all the applicable norms and standards.
Develop Project Quality plan and Quality Control Procedures in line with the client's requirements. Implements the project quality plan into the project.
In case of damages or accidents, jointly with HSE department, makes sure appropriate procedure are followed and adequate reporting is done.
Ensure final documentation is delivered by the subcontractors according to the client's standard.
Manage the site facilities from a technical and administrative point of view. Rent offices, provide the necessary utilities (water, electricity, internet), organize cleaning activities stipulating contract with local suppliers.
Ensure a smooth and efficient handover of the plant to asset-management department.
Liaise with DL and CSE where necessary.
Be nominated as safety responsible of the site ("preposto alla sicurezza")

In the long-run, you will be responsible for managing a small to medium team of Technical and Development professionals across France as the business organically grows. In the short-term, the role will be very much focussed across developing and growing a project pipeline in France.
Key Responsibilities:

About You
Utility, renewable developer or trading company experience in power transmission, network access and grid integration
Significant experience with ISO/RTO/BA market operation, tools and pricing mechanisms
Experience / ability to estimate transmission and network upgrade costs
Experience with day-ahead and real-time scheduling and operation a plus
Experience with transmission modelling, load flow and nodal price modelling and related software platforms
10 years experience with most recent two to three years focused on transmission systems planning and or operation while working with automated load flow tools and systems.

Position Summary
The Instrument and Control Engineer is a critical member of the Engineering Team based in Houston, Texas. This position is responsible for design of instrument and control systems solutions for the Hydrogen Liquefaction plants at all client locations. The Instrument and Control Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful transition from the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phase to the operations phase of liquefactions plants throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. By partnering with the engineering, production, project management and field service teams, the Instrument and Control Engineer will develop thorough understanding of the performance requirements of the H2 Liquefaction Plant design and continually refine instrumentation and controls to enhance the reliability of the plants. This role is vital to support company's systems in the field while also furthering the company's reputation as the industry leader in Hydrogen Liquefaction and Hydrogen fuel cell applications. Experience in Oil and Gas, Hydrogen, LNG or related Hydrocarbon processes is required.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Instrument & Controls system engineering, providing guidance and advice on related issues.
Participate in Control System Design reviews.
Develop and approve specifications of process control equipment including valves, relief valves, process instrumentation, analytical systems, and DCS & PLC.
Perform system tests to ensure that software and automation solutions are effective and reliable both pre and post deployment.
Support the Maintenance & Operations teams with Instrument & Controls systems assistance to maintain the operability of liquefaction Units.
Refine system automation and software solutions based upon field data and stakeholder input.
Develop design documentation (installation details, instrument index, databases, I/O lists, panel drawings, wiring and loop diagrams, control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, junction boxes drawings and cable tray layouts, etc.).
Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing of Process Automation equipment (DCS, Analyzers, plant equipment control systems)
Develop, read, and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Electrical Schematics as needed.
Relevant practical site commissioning experience, while not essential, would be of benefit.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Automation Engineering Manager.
Education and Experience
BS degree in Electrical, Instrumentation and/or Chemical Engineering, or other relevant field of study
Ten (10) or more years of relevant work history; experience developing automation solutions for field applications preferred. Candidates with strong equipment manufacturing experience utilizing PLC applications will be given due consideration.
Experience in managing third party contractors.
Working knowledge of Engineering Standards for Instrumentation; API, ISA, PIP & NEC.
Prior Instrumentation and Control experience; BPCS, SIS with Oil & Gas, Chemical manufacturing systems.
Experience with:
