Duties: Responsible for the design and optimization of gas turbine clearance. This will include 2D/3D transient thermal-mechanical analysis, use of in-house clearance tools, completing engine stack-ups, and development and optimization of reduced order clearance models. The engineer will need to have extensive FEA experience to be able to perform the quality and quantity of work required.
