QA/QC Inspector
Location: Fort McMurray
Contract term : 12 months
Site based position - 2/2 rotation. The QA/QC Inspector/Coordinator will report to the site QA/QC Superintendent and support projects in Alberta and British Columbia projects on a two week on/two week off schedule.
Responsibilities are as follows:
* Ensures the contractor quality and commissioning records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements * Administers and maintains completion management software * Coordinates with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turnover and handover area/system * Coordinates with the site QA/QC and commissioning for the completion of as-built turnover and handover documentation * Resolves any discrepancies between the completed milestone, quality and commissioning documentation * Coordinates with the commissioning department to define the scope of work and develop system component (tag) lists * Assist the site subcontractors to compile turnover dossiers as required * Provide turnover and handover progress information for incorporation into project reports * Monitor hydrostatic test packs for incorporation into the completion management system * Consider the implications of delays in QC as-built turnover documentation and bring to the attention of the site QA/QC manager * Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers and walkdowns * Attend the weekly QA/QC, and commissioning meetings * Coordinate any inconsistencies with test packages with the field QC site inspectors

Provide Quality Engineering support to the project operating country or regional cluster assigned. In-particular provide:
Standardisation - through the deployment and governance (self-verification) of global Quality standards throughout the value-chain in-country and / or regional cluster assigned.
Management System - deployment of global Quality management system and creation of in-country and / or regional cluster procedures to support such including governance (self-verification) and where required coordination of external audit body accreditation (i.e., ISO9001).
Performance - Cascade and measure / report defined Quality KPI's at in-country and / or in cluster level including participation in related performance reviews; Ensure capture and robust resolution of Non-conformances; Conduct on-site project construction / commissioning Quality assurance oversight.

Key Criteria
Ideally university degree qualified or otherwise qualified to an appropriate higher level of education in a related engineering discipline - extensive experience in a Quality Engineering role with lesser formal qualification would be considered where directly relevant.

Site based position - 2/2 rotation. The QA/QC Inspector/Coordinator will report to the site QA/QC Superintendent and support projects in Alberta and British Columbia projects on a two week on/two week off schedule.
Responsibilities are as follows:
* Ensures the contractor quality and commissioning records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements * Administers and maintains completion management software * Coordinates with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turnover and handover area/system * Coordinates with the site QA/QC and commissioning for the completion of as-built turnover and handover documentation * Resolves any discrepancies between the completed milestone, quality and commissioning documentation * Coordinates with the commissioning department to define the scope of work and develop system component (tag) lists * Assist the site subcontractors to compile turnover dossiers as required * Provide turnover and handover progress information for incorporation into project reports * Monitor hydrostatic test packs for incorporation into the completion management system * Consider the implications of delays in QC as-built turnover documentation and bring to the attention of the site QA/QC manager * Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers and walkdowns * Attend the weekly QA/QC, and commissioning meetings * Coordinate any inconsistencies with test packages with the field QC site inspectors

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience
Minimum of 5-8 years of oil and gas experience in division order.
Experience with PRA/SAP, and Quorum Land Systems is a plus but not required.

Oversee the engineering contractor to complete offshore pipeline basic engineering and basis of design for EPCI package.
Oversees/Supervises the FEED and EPCI Contractors to carry out the FEED, detailed engineering, equipment/ material specifications, procurement strategy, pipeline material packages, coating, transportation and pipeline laying.
Responsible to ensure that all pipeline engineering works are completed in accordance with the applicable contract(s), specifications, design codes and standards including company, client, and Government requirements and regulations as well as the Project Quality and HSE plan during FEED and EPCIC.
Review metocean data and verify the data to be used in each area e.g. offshore, shallow water, shore approach
Review geophysical and light geotechnical survey data and reports including verify the data of existing facilities related to pipelines in the development project
Review and verify the riser locations at CPP together with piping, structural and safety engineers considering the topmost benefits to company in terms of installability of future pipeline tie-ins, cost effectiveness, safety concerns, flare radiation etc.
Supervise and control of pipeline FEED and detailed engineering activities. Review engineering activities e.g. wall thickness design, cathodic protection, on-bottom stability, end expansion, on-bottom roughness, allowable free span analysis, riser and tie-in spool design, global buckling and walking, riser VIV, riser clamp design, pipeline crossing, dropped object analysis, all relevant drawings etc.
Supervise and provide guidance of preparing project particular specifications for pipeline design, materials, construction, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning. Project particular specification for line pipe shall be developed considering high resistant to H2S embrittlement and associated effects, low temperature services for rapid depressurized event, steel metallurgical and composition, steel grade optimization in consultation with the integrated pipe mills.
Assure the technical quality of engineering activities involved with the design, procurement, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of offshore pipelines and associated facilities.
Ensure that all pipeline engineering activities comply with project specifications, relevant codes and standards, 3rd Party agreements, authority regulations, and Government legislation.
Support process engineers in reviewing the flow assurance studies
Support safety engineers in pipeline risk assessment study, riser impairment analysis and SSIV study and pipeline dropped object risk assessment study
Support piping engineers in reviewing topside piping system connected to risers and pipelines. Interface with related discipline during FEED and EPCI work such as flow assurance, pipeline risk assessment, safety studies, ALARP, HAZID and HAZOP
Contact and engage third party consultants for engineering service of preliminary Engineering Critical Assessment (ECA) study to avoid Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) and ascertain weld quality and opportunity arriving acceptable flaw size
Contact and engage third party consultants for engineering service of burial, trenching and backfilling requirements at shallow water and shore approach areas for cost and specific design optimization purposes
Manage assigned relevant pipeline contracts in accordance with scope of work and to budget and schedule.
Support project team to prepare CFT Package, perform technical bid clarification and prepare technical bid evaluation for pipeline LLI, EPCIC and Pan Malaysia Pipeline Installation.
Participates the procurement strategies and the procurement processes to obtain the most appropriated vendors to provide the pipeline materials and services. Work includes the bidder list reviews, material specifications, evaluations, service orders/contracts, recommendation, vendor's inspection and test plans (ITP), manufacturing progress, logistic, custom clearance and delivery.
Support project and Asset team in preparing any technical information required for getting an approval from other operators and/or third parties e.g. crossing over the existing pipeline of other operators
Support project team to sourcing third party services e.g. CA, MWS
Responsible for all procurement activities of pipeline and riser long-lead items e.g. pipeline, induction bends, pipeline and bend coatings from RFQ package preparation until long-lead items are ready at site. The activities shall include but not limited to preparing RFQ package and TBE criteria, technical clarifications/qualifications, technical bid evaluation, kick-off meeting with manufacturers, supervision and quality control on manufacturer documents e.g. MPS, ITP, NDE, SSC, HIC procedures, supervision and control in manufacturing procedure qualification tests and productions, QA/QC inspection, transportation between manufacturers, interface management between manufacturers, transportation to site, MWS approval.

Participate and contribute to technical review sessions e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, ALARP, PTR, etc. as the pipeline focal point.
Supervise and control in fabrication and construction of pipelines and risers e.g. welding procedure specifications and qualifications including repair procedures, welders and welding operators qualifications and welding personnel list, NDT procedures and qualifications, field joint coating procedures and qualifications, field joint applicator qualifications
Supervise and control in transportation and installation engineering and installation activities of all pipelines at offshore including shallow water and shore approach
Support Company Site Representatives to resolve any technical issues during pipeline installation campaign. If no separate Company Site Representatives assigned, senior pipeline engineer shall manage team to be and/or be responsible as Company Site Representative on board/at shore site during pipeline installation activities
Interface with Operation team, and support external parties including other PACs other operators to ensure a smooth design, procurement, construction, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning and handover of offshore pipelines and risers interface
Interface and support Onshore Gas Plant team to ensure a smooth design, procurement, construction, installation of shore approach at OGP2 including pre-commissioning and commissioning interface activities of related pipeline
Interface with Operations and Production during commissioning and start-up to ensure a smooth handover.
Interface and support other disciplines for engineering, procurement, construction, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to pipelines
Involve in fabrication, coating, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover to Operations.
Responsible for expediting all pipeline engineering works including engineering reviews and approval of deliverables from contractors and vendors

Effective computer skills in discipline-specific software e.g. MathCAD, AGA, SAGE Profiler, PIPESIM, AutoPIPE, Finite element software, StableLines etc.
Familiar with pipeline calculation using spread sheets or other tools
Have extensive knowledge and familiar with different pipeline design codes e.g. ASME B31.8, DNVGL RP F101, API 1111, API 1104, and other international codes and standards applicable for Pipeline system design e.g. DNVGL, ISO, NACE, etc.
Experiences as Company Site Representative and/or field engineer during pipeline installation for major project are preferable
Experiences in CFT development and Tendering execution of Offshore/Onshore gas plant/petrochemical/refinery industry are advantage
Familiarity with Malaysian oil & gas operator operating and control practices is a benefit
Good command of written and spoken English

Assignment Scope: Key Accountabilities * Focuses on the daily oversight of all assigned projects. * Must ensure quality and cost standards are met within assigned timeframes and completed efficiently, effectively, and in an ethical manner. * Participates in pre-construction planning, including project scope, site assessments, site layout, and project details. * Maintains continuous communication throughout projects related to progress, issues, and solutions. * Responsible to have appropriate materials at project site in a timely fashion to meet project deadlines. * Receives and verifies material shipment quantity and integrity. * Communicates and/or resolves shipping schedules/conflicts with vendors or operations manager. * Submits required project reports in a timely, accurate, and complete manner. * Completes purchase orders, inventory documents, and time sheets to specified detail daily and weekly. * Performs and completes final inspection documentation. Job Overview
Provide Planning, progress measurement and reporting support to the Development team both in the home office and field locations
Responsibilities;
The position holder will be required to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support of engineering and construction activities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the ongoing development of the level 3 Schedule. 2. Prepare regular updates to the Level 3 schedule to ensure that it covers all known scope and reflects the current status and measured progress. 3. Prepare high level schedule and progress information as required for inclusion in management presentations. 4. Prepare and update engineering, procurement and construction progress measurement documentation for all in house managed scopes of work. 5. Issue regular management reports covering near, medium and long term critical activities and potential schedule bottlenecks. 6. Review, comment on and validate Contractor's progress measurement systems and regular reports. 7. Ensure that their own work is of high quality and is delivered according to deadlines. 8. Always promote safe behaviour. 9. Engage fully in all company provided training activities or courses.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree 2. Previous relevant work experience in both field and office locations and within a similar environment. Skills 1. Strong Command of English Language (demonstrated verbal and written skills). 2. Hands on experience with Oracle Primavera P6. 3. Highly computer literate with a detailed knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software. 4. Ability to understand and interpret all manner of engineering drawings and documentation. 5. Petroplan are assisting a major client of ours in their search for a Pipeline Technical Authority to join their team on site in Algeria. This individual will report to the Integrity Team Lead and take on responsibility for Pipeline assets at all the sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Pipeline team with Pipeline Engineers.
Co-ordinate the Pipeline Integrity Management work and reporting.
Be responsible for integrity of all pipeline systems (PIMS).
Provide assurance through a set of performance indicators with regards to the PIMS.
Manage the Pipeline related contractors - Cathodic Protection Surveys, Intelligent Pigging Campaigns, and Pipeline Integrity Support Services.
Key Candidate Criteria:
Minimum 15 years with broad experience of design, construction, technical safety and operations of oil and gas pipeline systems and Cathodic Protection facilities.
Higher qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline with in depth experience ORChartered Engineer or equivalent qualification. Electrical qualifications (for CP support)
