Petroplan is currently looking for a Compressor Mechanic for one of our midstream clients. Job Responsibilities Inspects all equipment, including compressors, engines, pumps, generators etc. Repairs and/or replaces compressor valves Assists in parts inventory for all engines, pumps, compressors etc. Completes preventative and predictive maintenance per PM schedule on: gas compressors, air compressors, pumps, IC engines, fin fans, gear boxes, electric motors, valves, and basic system controls Provides input to written job plans, maintenance and operating procedures Contributes to RCA processes and procedures Troubleshoots performance issues Job Qualificiations Industrial/Oilfield experience Mechanical experience Skilled in gas processing, terminology and concepts relevant to work activities (e.g., hydrostatic pressures, pressure ratings, torque) Should have appropriate certifications 3 years of mechanical experience with at least one of the following equipment sets: reciprocating compressors/centrifugal gas compressors/internal combustion engines/pumps High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or technical degree preferred About Petroplan Petroplan is the trusted, specialist global Talent Solutions partner of choice for employers and professionals in the Energy sector.
