Responsibilities
As CAE Support Engineer, you will oversee improving and developing:
Transfer of engineering calculations to Rescale
HPC capabilities:
Maintain and improve our calculation capacities to maximize the usage of our resources (CPU, memory, storage, licenses, Cloud credit
Develop new HPC workflows to answer our Engineering needs (various disciplines and various CAE software packages - Abaqus, Ansys, Orcaflex, Olga)
Develop our transition to Cloud Computing platform and the link with our HPC on Premises
Integrated Engineering Platform:
Support the development and adoption of the platform
Be part of the IEP development team to provide feedback and improvement ideas
Access to calculation resources and CAD modelling (tools, data, and licenses). At the interface of Engineering users and IT experts, you support the end users, understand their issues with Engineering tools and facilitate the interface with IT or software vendors when needed. The scope is wide and rich as it encompasses all Engineering data and systems (HPC, PDM, PLM and our own development platform IEP).
Experience / Education
You should have experience in an engineering environment and ideally will be degree qualified within a relevant engineering or IT based subject
You should have scripting experience in software such as Python, VBA or VB.net
You will have experience with CAD/CAE software packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Abaqus, Orcaflex, Ansys, Olga)
Ideally you will have experience with HPC systems (both site and cloud based), PDM and PLM
Ideally you will have experience with Devops and Git

Responsibilities
Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure IT network and security infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
Provide BAU Infrastructure support and assist the support desk duties when requested by the IT Team Leader.
Infrastructure administration and project management using existing tools.
Work closely with and monitor logs generated from SIEM & Sophos MTR. Perform threat hunts with the tools available to you as and when a security related incident occurs.
Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of all systems.
Maintain high patching status on all systems.
Configuring, maintaining and implementing intrusion detection systems and firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security.
Perform annual Pen Tests with a third party and follow up remediating found vulnerabilities based on CVSS score and the likelihood of the issue being a problem.
Work with the IT Team in working through the issue's found in the Pen Test report
Configuring and installing security infrastructure devices.
Investigating intrusion and hacking incidents, collecting incident responses, and carrying out forensic investigations.
Determining latest technologies and processes that improve the overall security of the system by keeping up to date with the latest security and technology developments.
Plan for disaster recovery and create contingency plans in the event of any security breaches.
Working with the IT Team Leader - Inform senior management about any security incidents as soon as possible.
Experience/Education
Degree level education in an IT related subject or equivalent, with relevant advanced IT qualifications.
At least 5 years working experience in a similar role.
Expert Knowledge of security and network. Strong knowledge of Databases, Applications, Service OS, enterprise platforms, compute, storage.
Excellent communication and client servicing skills.
Expert knowledge of Checkpoint
Cloud Proxy service (Zscaler)
Cloud Private access (Zscaler)
Cisco CCNA & CCNP qualifications
IT Security Prevention and awareness
CompTIA Security or equivalent qualification

POSITION OVERVIEW: As an Operations Developer II for the company, the successful candidate will be responsible for technically analyzing, enhancing, supporting, and troubleshooting in-house developed solutions and data interfaces with the company's Enterprise Trade and Risk Management (ETRM) systems. The successful candidate will work both directly and indirectly with analysts, business personnel, and other ETRM Developers to evaluate needs, analyze options and provide effective and resourceful technical solutions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop preventative customizations to the company's ETRM system. These will be modifications or enhancements to the company's ETRM system that prevent or handle specific future user-encountered or back-end process breaks.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and otherwise identify and develop solutions to ETRM system issues escalated to the Operations Development team by ETRM Analysts or other ETRM personnel.
Collaborate with teams in multiple geographic locations. Users are located in both Oklahoma City and Houston offices. Position may include occasional travel to remote offices.
Exhibit a desire to continue growth of software skills, including new platforms and applications not previously used.
Exhibit a strong customer service focus.
Work with other team members in a rotating on-call support cycle.
Effectively execute multiple assignments and projects with some oversight and according to defined quality and output standards.
Exhibit understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.
Identify resources, including other team members, business analysts, and subject matter experts, and procure their input to determine ETRM solution options.
Solicit feedback on performance in new tasks.
Work with ETRM Operations Development Supervisor to determine urgency and priority for tasks, escalate issues of exceptional nature.
Discuss, share, and seek relevant information, opinions, and judgements to support ETRM system troubleshooting and problem solving.

Perform other tasks as needed to deliver successful solutions and otherwise contribute to the overall stability of the company's ETRM system.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience with DevOps a plus
