Our client, an established Owner / Operator within the Oil & Gas industry, are currently looking for an experienced Welfare Officer to join them on a permanent basis in Dubai. This role seeks a candidate from an Oil & Gas or Construction project background with extensive experience in the following areas:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Labor Management within Labor Camps / Accommodation.
  • Must possess IFC exposure / awareness.
  • The successful candidate will have direct field experience and extensive HR Policy awareness.
  • To ensure Compliance with National Employment and Labor Laws, Equality and Diversity.
  • Management of any type of grievance and Investigations.
  • Land Acquisition.
  • Technical Environmental and Social Impact Assessment.
  • Social Performance Management and management of third party contractors.
  • Drafted annual employee welfare programs in line with HR strategy plan with budget.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree within a relevant subject.
  • A minimum of 6 years of directly related experience.
  • Extensive years of experience within Social Performance Management.
  • Major Construction project experience.

Head of Structural/Civil Engineering

Petroplan are currently seeking a Head of Structural/Civil Engineering to join a multinational EPC in Dubai.

  • Provide technical guidance to Sr. Engineers / Engineers to ensure schedule adherence and quality of engineering documents related to FEED, basic and detailed design in Civil/ Structural discipline.
  • Identify personal development & training plan for the reporting staff.
  • Awareness of Company's QHSE Policy and Integrated Management System. Be aware of and obey the Company QHSE rules and perform the activities required by relevant procedures on these issues.
  • Monitor the project schedules/Quantities/Changes through timely review and comments
  • Review design of steel and concrete structures to various International & Company codes and standards
  • Review design of structure and equipment foundations to static and dynamic loading
  • Monitor and review - Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Material take offs, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, Inter discipline design coordination and supervision
  • Review and approve design calculations for steel and concrete structures
  • Review and approve seismic design and design for extreme wind loads
  • Approve CAD drawings done using, Microstation, Smartplant 3D, AutoCAD, PDMS, PDS, etc.
  • Liaise with other disciplines to accommodate their requirements
  • Liaise with Designers in the preparation of structural and foundation drawings and details
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with quality as per Client/Project/Code specifications & standards.
  • Give effective presentation to customers, suppliers and internally within the organization with other discipline leads and project management team
  • Prepare and supervise preparation of proposal and contract design calculations using standards and / or new methods as required
  • Review vendor drawings/other discipline drawings for adequacy of Civil design input requirements.
  • Have sound technical knowledge in structural analysis and design, foundation design, civil works and geotechnical engineering with considerable exposure to relevant design codes and standards
  • Attend all the company-organised training courses when invited.

Pay rate: 30,000 AED pcm

We are looking for an Instrument Engineer to work within the operations department for a large Oil & Gas operator. The role will be residential in Dubai (5 days a week) with a permanent monthly salary and full expat package.

Role:

  • Supporting all offshore operational assets for: instrumentation, control, safeguard and condition monitoring systems
  • Determine best practices for reliability
  • Single point of contact for all modifications activities, including ordering equipment, planning for pre-commissioning and then final commissioning

Senior Reservoir Engineer

Opportunity for a Senior Reservoir Engineer

We are currently searching for a Senior Reservoir Engineer with 5-15 years' experience in the Oil and Gas industry. The candidate needs to have a strong background in Reservoir Simulation and Management. The role will require the candidate to perform integrated reservoir studies and contribute to the preparation and execution of the Field Development Plans to maximise oil production.

Candidate Requirements:

  • MSc. or Ph.D. preferred.
  • 5 to 15 years' experience on the following, depending on experience quality;
  • Experience in building 3D dynamic simulations models.
  • Experience in support of field development planning and uncertainty analysis.
  • Experience in development well planning and execution (including high angle / horizontal wells).
  • Experience in Waterflood expected, EOR would be a plus.
  • Experience in reserves calculation and general reservoir engineering reporting.
  • Some operational experience (production, well testing, stimulation etc.).
  • Middle-East experience would be considered a plus but not essential.

Competencies/Skills/Others:

  • Teamwork: Good team player and capable of working effectively in a multicultural office environment to ensure information transfer within the organisation.
  • Attention to Detail and Quality: Ensuring data and interpretation integrity is a core responsibility.
  • Effective Communication: Reports and presentations to various audiences must be clear and comprehensible.
  • Strong English language skills - reading, writing and speaking.
