Responsibilities:

  • Support manpower requirement.
  • Manages the complete recruitment cycle (identification of best fit and diversified TA solutions in consultation with shareholders/internal clients)
  • Organize Technical interviews with panel members and assess the right and suitable candidates based on the minimum criteria from the JD.
  • Organizes and manages job placement for various job portals.
  • Negotiates compensation packages with selected candidates.
  • Initiates correspondence/letters for potential new employees.
  • Manages Candidates database.
  • Coordinates with recruitment consultants (Local and Overseas).

To provide reporting and analytical support to the business and specifically the department to which assigned.Review in detail the cost base of the department, understanding cost drivers, work schedules and impacts on in month and full year costs.
Work with the department managers and ELT member; provide support in the collation of the annual budget and in year forecasts.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Professional Qualification i.e Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or MBA Finance or working towards a similar qualification
  • Experience Profile:
  • 5 Years' experience in a similar role and similar sized organisation.
  • Oil and Gas experience essential.
  • Working experience in Oracle essential.

  • Ability to understand the technical side of things on a high level to better assist the Business Manager.

Head-IT shall have overall responsibility of the IT function both for E&C HQ and Task Force Project sites of the company.

Responsibilities:


AREA

TASKS

Overall Management
  • Strategize IT requirements for the company
  • Align and prioritize the IT initiatives in line with Company goals
  • Build a suitable Organization of professionals to deliver IT Services
  • Policy decisions on Hardware, Software and Outsource vendors
  • Develop Business Continuity Plan.
  • Information Systems Security policy
  • Management and troubleshooting for available systems like SAP, Gulf HR, Intranet and website
  • Report to the Management Committee on security incidents
  • Identify technologies relevant for Business benefit
  • Keeping updated with new trends
  • Ensure timely performance appraisals and training needs identification for all departmental employees
  • Maintenance and overseeing of servers for healthy performance for E&C HQ
  • Overseeing management of Biometric staff access systems

Policies and Procedures
  • Formulate, review and guide policies and procedures for the departments under the IT department at E&C HQ and Project sites.
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with various department heads for IT related development and issues

Project Budgeting
  • Prepare IT budget for E&C HQ and Project site requirements.
  • Provide hard ware, software and IT personnel to projects based on requirements/budgets

Support to Estimation department
  • Provide data and technical inputs to Estimation department for upcoming bidding projects

MIS
  • Monitor actual performance against budget/ targets through monthly MIS reports prepared

Qualifications, Experiences & Skills

Basic:
  • Graduate in Engineering preferably Computer Science/Diploma/BSc in Computer Science or IT Certifications in Microsoft Technologies (MCP/MCSA/MCSE) and Cisco are preferable.
  • 20-25 years IT Management experience, including 3-5 years of senior level responsibility
  • Exceptional hands on functional expertise
  • Proven analytical ability
  • Solid understanding of impact on business decisions
  • Proven leadership and problem solving skills
  • Solid record of delivering results


Preferred:
  • Demonstrated ability to boldly present strategic plans and gain support from company Executives.

My client, an established Owner / Operator, are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This position, will support the functions of a major Refinery project that is currently ongoing in Dubai.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Set Up the Refinery maintenanc
  • e planning function, and develop maintenance planning procedures, business processes and work flows;
  • You will develop Services Contracts Strategy, Execution Plans, and Scope of Works;
  • To contribute to the development of the Refinery Maintenance Management system;
  • Coordinate with Third Party Services Providers and ensure that the Refinery maintenance and turnarounds plans are well communicated.
  • Ensure that the Refinery working capital is optimized and managed efficiently; and
  • Successfully develop the planning and service department budget, and monitor expenditures against the approved budget.
  • Carry out the planning and contract services organization staff roles, responsibilities, and job descriptions.
  • To develop training program to the department staff, based on their job competencies matrix.
  • Provide input to the Refinery Risk Management System, develop mitigation measures, and monitor and follow up implementation.
  • Successfully develop Maintenance Services Contracts Strategy, considering in-country value and community.
  • Prepare the Maintenance Services Contracts Execution Plan.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10 years of Maintenance Management experience.
  • Extensive Maintenance Planning experience
  • Strong Owner / Operator background.
  • Bachelors of Engineering Degree.
  • Fluent English Language Skills.

Steam Cracker Project Manager - Owner / Operator - Petrochemical - Dubai

Our client, a leading Petrochemical Owner / Operator, are currently looking for a Project Manager to oversee the entire project lifecycle of their Steam Cracker Project. This position is based in Dubai and will start immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage the development of the Process Units Area 1 Design Cases, and the Scope of Requirement during the FEED.
  • To manage the development of the Steam Cracker, and other Process Units Technology Licenses Invitation to Tenders (ITT), Tender Clarifications, Tender Evaluations, and Recommendation of Award.
  • Overall project management including project engineering, project planning/scheduling, progress monitoring, budgeting, cost estimating, cost control, multi-discipline engineering co-ordination, project procurement support, document control and contract management.
  • Act as a technical generalist in a variety of disciplines including but not limited to equipment, civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical.
  • Act as the overall coordinator for all internal and external engineering on projects as required. In this capacity, is responsible for the successful integration of the piping, equipment, civil/structural, instrument, and electrical design activities.
  • Develop EPC Contracts Acceptance of Work (work process & accountability/responsibility) Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start Up till achievement of the Facility Initial Acceptance and Hand Over to Operation & Maintenance.
  • Mentoring and development of new recruited engineers, and interns.
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 10 years of Steam Cracker Project Management / Project Engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience with Owner / Operators within the Petrochemical market.
