Negotiate and develop grid connections design that reduce installation time and cost whilst maintaining or improving plant.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the TSO/DNO design and delivery teams ensuring the company's projects progressing smoothly through the project life cycle.
Review the technical designs submitted by HV/MV contractors or EPCs to company requirements and to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Be responsible for "grid intelligence" and implementation of new connection methods arising from the Italian TSO/DNOs policy changes and changing industry standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with HV/MV contractors and EPCs to drive performance and ensure they deliver their services.
Develop and maintain relationships with the Italian TSO's and DNOs' design and delivery teams ensuring projects progressing smoothly through the project lifecycle.

Provide technical assistance during project development and ensure the factors influencing and influenced by the grid connection are considered.
Carry out technical due diligence and risk assessment on grid connection conditions/agreements offered by the Italian TSO and DNOs (Terna and Enel).
Manage Technical Advisors and Consultants to support Grid and Delivery related activities across Italy.
Develop and maintain relationships with the Italian TSO and DNOs to support the grid application and delivery process.
Manage and be responsible for the process of grid applications ensuring they are submitted in a timely manner. Progress through the Italian TSO's, DNOs' and national requirements and processes without delay.
Proven Managerial skills.
Requirements
5 years involvement in medium to large-scale (10-50 MW) interconnections of power generation projects.
Participation in and leading interconnection processes in Italy.
Strong ties to key industry players.
Knowledge of market-standard construction and equipment costs.
University Degree in Electrical Power Systems and/or Electrical Engineering.
Excellent use of Italian and English Language.
Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite.
Candidates with additional qualification in renewable energy (especially RES) would be advantageous.
