Job Function

  • Support tendering processes, single source justifications and contract negotiations.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Contractual evaluation of the offers, recommendations.
  • Raise Purchase Requisitions / purchase orders / work orders / service orders in SAP.
  • Review vendor contracts to ensure conformance to project specifications and to identify deviations from accepted group policy/practice and any unusual business or logistical risks.

This role will involve carrying out day to day Credit Control duties, collecting cash on the worldwide debtors ledger, across multiple currencies. You will manage reporting and reconciling key accounts and work closely with the Credit Control team based in Guildford and India.


Roles and Responsibilities: -

  1. Proactively manage debt collection for a worldwide multi-currency ledger
  2. Issue monthly statements and copy invoices where necessary
  3. Resolution of queries to facilitate payments from customers to bring payment into line with terms
  4. Liaise & communicate with internal departments as required in order to maintain an accurate position on customer accounts
  5. Prioritise and manage challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and identify accounts that will require special attention
  6. Maintaining the query log daily - Assist the P&R team in reducing the number of queries, by spotting trends and improving areas of weakness.
  7. Maintaining the unallocated cash on both the Supplier/Customer accounts


You will ideally have: -

  • Proficiency with Excel and portal submissions
  • Experience working with multiple currencies

Knowledge, qualifications and experience

  • Degree in electrical engineering or related subject, ideally with professional qualifications (CEng)

Senior Pipeline Engineer (Subsea)

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Engineer (Subsea), working for a client of ours in their London office. The Senior Pipeline Engineer will specialise in both the design and analysis of offshore pipelines.
Key Requirements

  • Provide specialist skills in areas of subsea pipelines, including design codes, and must show strong engineering practice
  • Candidate will also need to be competent within design calculations, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations and study reports
  • Provide mechanical and integrity calculations for offshore pipelines using DNV Tools, AutoPIPE, Abaqus or similar software
  • Coordinate pipeline engineering support to the execution of multi-discipline projects in line with defined budget and schedule
  • Liaise with associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project
  • Provide pipeline engineering assistance during occasional periods of offshore or site working
  • Provide pipeline engineering support to Business Acquisition and FEED study execution
  • Train / mentor junior and Graduate engineers

Technical experience within Subsea Systems (mainly XTs and Subsea Production Systems plus Structures, and SURF) in Deepwater Developments in all the project phases (design, tender, construction/testing and installation).

Petroplan are assisting a client in the search for an Offshore Structural Engineer to work a staff position. The client is a mid-sized operator with offices in Central London, accessible easily through transport links in and around London.

The role will be involved with a majority of the engineering and commercial aspects of the company in pre- and post-contract stages within assigned projects.

Selected candidates will need to have a proven ability within Offshore structural engineering, particularly in FPSO/FSO Design which includes bridges, substructures and topsides. Technical knowledge should stretch from design through to installation.

The IT Officer…

  • Will be the first point of contact (helpdesk) for users in London office, their day-to-day needs and A/V communication requirements

  • Will be responsible for ICT hardware installation and maintenance

Maintenance Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prioritize and direct work in cooperation with the Operations and Engineering team
  • Lead root causes analysis of equipment failure and suggests modifications based on the analysis. Support management of change by reviewing system design and recommending and developing changes
  • Develop specifications for rotating and fixed equipment such as Pressure vessels, Heat exchanges, Pumps, or Compressors

  • Participate in turnaround planning and engage contractors to staff the outages

  • All jobs and plant conditions are to be maintained in a CH compliance and Safety manner as an equal to the total job scope
  • Holding contractors and others accountable for timelines, quality of work, QC of jobs, skills levels
  • Parts consumption and cost tracking as defined by Manager, Maintenance Engineering including labor;
  • Head up tank outages with necessary inspections and certifications (scaffolding, cleaning, repairing, etc.)
