Prospective candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Supervise, Direct and Coordinate daily / weekly activities of the workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of various machines
  • Schedule daily/weekly repairs
  • Develop preventative maintenance programs to ensure safety of all equipment
  • Communicate with various departments
  • Plan, develop and implement new methods and procedures design to improve operations and minimize current operating costs


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience within Chemical Industry
  • 5-7 years of chemical plant experience is required

Static Equipment Engineer - Oil & Gas - Major Project - Owner / Operator - Rotterdam - Dutch Speaking

My client, a global Oil & Gas Owner / Operator, are looking for a Dutch Speaking Static Equipment Engineer to join them on a permanent basis and work on a Major Project.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review of documentation provided by Licensor and Contractor (including data sheets, drawings, requisitions and specifications) for pressure vessels (including reactors, columns and drums) storage tanks and heat exchangers to ensure compliance with project objectives.
  • Provision of support and advice on static equipment matters.
  • Contribute to inter - discipline reviews and value engineering exercises.
  • Extensive experience, primarily in a contracting environment, working with pressure vessels, storage tanks and heat exchangers on FEED and EPC projects for the oil and gas, refinery and petrochemical industries.
  • Mechanical design of pressure vessels using PV Elite (or other commercially available software package).
  • Experience of thermal design using HTRI would be an advantage.
  • Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience specialising in Static Equipment.
  • Major Oil & Gas Project experience.
  • Bachelors of Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
  • Fluent Dutch Language Skills.
  • Must be able to work in the EU without sponsorship.

Purpose
The Commercial Manager is to assist Management Board in managing and reviewing overall activities related to commercial matters such as credit management, planning contractual, purchases & sales, logistics & marine, customer support.

Responsibilities:
Under the direct management of Deputy General Director (DGD), the Commercial Manager is responsible for successful implementation of followings:

  • Review and realign, if necessary, the Commercial Department organization and resources (budget, manpower, equipment) in order to have effective coordination & implementation of all commercial programs & activities
  • Review and/ or revise policies, standards/ procedures to achieve high commercial performance
  • Provide commercial assistance for forecasting, utilization statistics, and guidance to Operations and Finance teams on contractual administration requirements and procedures
  • Manage and confirm purchase orders (PO) for crude oil & sale order (SO) for all products
  • Manage and resolves issues relating to all the commercial contracts between the client and counterparts including, but not limited to, the price negotiation
  • Provide commercial assistance for forecasting, utilization statistics, and guidance to Operations and Finance teams on contractual administration requirements and procedures
  • Manage and confirm purchase orders (PO) for crude oil & sale order (SO) for all products
  • Manage and resolves issues relating to all the commercial contracts between the client and counterparts including, but not limited to, the price negotiation.
  • Monitor and handle PO/SO/DO via SAP
  • Manage to contact with existing/potential customers to ensure the readiness of any spot sale and spot purchase
  • Deal with spot sales (export and domestic) & spot purchases (import and domestic)
  • Manage to receive & response feedbacks from Customer (Customer research & support)
  • Forecast and response to market behaviors
  • Deal with all commercial matters in daily operation (IDDPA; credit management, rollover; demurrage; inspection; disputes....)
  • Manage and control marine service charges (PP handling fee, port charges, custom clearance....).
  • Plan and implement the most optimal solution to maximize the profit for the client based on the product sales and production by having a close coordination with Refinery Planning team.
  • Be focal point of all commercial matters by close coordinating with E&C (Refinery Planning team), Finance, Accounting and other related internal parties.
  • Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a commercial situation;

An individual with ideally 10 years plus experience in security. Someone who has ICS experience. A strong preference for candidates with security certifications.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The position holder is responsible for all R&D and Technology related activities of Group's future compounding business. He/she is managing respective key projects, identifying and assessing new product and technology opportunities, and coordinating and professionally supervising all development projects and technical tasks of the R&D competence network. As key contributor to compounding related strategic business initiatives the compounding senior expert is developing the necessary technology and product strategies, investigating organic and inorganic growth opportunities, and is managing cooperation schemes with academic and industrial partners.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for all compounding related product development and research projects from idea to implementation in-line with business strategy to implement and grow the Group's compounding business line.
  • Leads the Compounding Competence Network within Downstream R&D and coordinates and professionally supervises the activities of R&D engineers assigned to the hub targeting timely, efficient and high-quality execution.
  • Manages strategic and high-complexity projects in collaboration with project owners and internal and external partners to address new customer and market needs.
  • Identifies new compounding related business opportunities and develops new product and technology concepts increasing competitiveness of the Group's product portfolio.
  • Contributes to the conceptualization and implementation of organic business development approaches by defining the technology and product strategy.
  • Provides technical assessments of new technology opportunities including technical due diligence for potential industrial partnerships or acquisition targets as part of strategic business development initiatives.
  • Oversees the technical activities of existing cooperation partners, ensures support and guidance for joint projects; and develops the partnership network including domestic and international research institutes, universities as well as industrial partners
  • Builds advanced know-how and advises internal teams and stakeholders regarding compounding products, technologies, industry specific standards and regulations; and represent the Group's interests in professional forums supporting the Group's compounding value chain development.

  • Capability to determine new compound recipes according to customer's requirements
  • Professional skills about general processing technology in different PP compound application
  • Project management experiences in professional and in managerial roles.
  • Techno-economical evaluation capability (CAPEX/OPEX; benchmarking; due diligence; etc.)
  • Deep knowledge about automotive requirements, standards

LNG INSTRUMENT ENGINEER (PLANT OPERATIONS)
Client: Major US-based LNG Operator
Location: Gulf Coast, USA

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The position of Instrument Engineer reports to the site-based Lead Instrument Engineer and will be part of a small team responsible for ensuring that instrumentation systems function safely, efficiently, and reliably. The primary goal of the Instrument Engineer is to contribute to the Instrumentation Engineering Groups' efforts to meet business goals for production while minimizing unscheduled equipment downtime. The role will interface with the Maintenance and Operations Teams while providing technical expertise and integrity oversight in the areas of Process Control, Process Instrumentation, and Safety Instrumented Systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintenance/operations and small capital project improvement work related to Instrumentation, Safety Instrumented Systems, Fire and Gas Systems, and Process Control Systems
  • Contribute to the validation, review, and configuration changes related to the Safety Instrumented System
  • Development/review of Safety Instrumented System procedures and processes
  • Cause and Effect verification and configuration review with plant operations/maintenance teams
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance routines and procedures for Instrumentation and Safety Instrumented System

The position of Rotating Equipment Engineer reports to the site-based Lead Mechanical Engineer and will be part of a small team responsible for ensuring that all the facility's Rotating Equipment functions safely, efficiently, and reliably. The primary goal of the Rotating Equipment Engineer is to contribute to the Mechanical Engineering Groups' efforts to meet business goals for production while minimizing unscheduled equipment downtime. The role will interface with the Maintenance and Operations Teams while providing technical expertise and integrity oversight in the area of Rotating Equipment (turbines, motors, generators, compressors, and pumps).

  • Maintenance/operations and small capital project improvement work related to turbines, motors, generators, compressors, and pumps and supporting systems including couplings, bearings, lubrication, and sealing systems
  • Contribute to the validation, review, and configuration changes related to on-site Rotating Equipment

  • Cause and Effect verification and configuration review with plant operations/maintenance teams
