Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative is responsible for attracting new customers to our client's retail and commercial fuel, and ancillary sales businesses. This will be accomplished by optimizing existing promotional relationships and developing new opportunities which may or may not be centered on the Rewards Program.
The Rewards program is running very well from a strategic and competitive prospective. The team currently has very strong strategists, analysts, administrators so we are seeking individuals with STRONG Business Development experience that will leverage the program and other assets to aggressively find new customers and ultimately new sales.
The Business Development Representative works collaboratively with other internal departments including Retail and Commercial Operations, IS, Accounting, Finance and Legal. There is also a high level of collaboration required with external service providers including data and analytics, gift and payment cards, and creative and production.
This is a one year contract but there is potential for it to be extended.
MUST HAVES
* 10 years in a Business Development role: the unique combination of being a self-starter and a team player, ability to open doors with creative and innovative approaches to customer acquisition
* Business Diploma/Degree or 10 years of experience/related education
* 2 or more years of experience within Oil & Gas
* An aggressive self-starter with a hunter mentality; someone hungry for new business and growth
* A combination of new sales and account development experience with a more proactive approach to relationships
* An individual who won't hide behind strategy and instead will be out there driving new business

Rotating Equipment Engineer
Role Synopsis
Reporting to the Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer, the Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment) will:

  • Provide technical guidance and assurance to the Project, ensuring safe, consistent and cost effective application of Project, and regulatory codes and standards and good engineering practice.
  • Work with the relevant EPC Contractor during the late Execute Phase of the Project) in support of construction, commissioning and early operation phases, providing technical integrity assurance when resolving Site Technical Queries etc.


When required the incumbent will:

  • Work with machinery package suppliers to resolve issues;
  • Rigorously challenge design change but, when needed, prepare & progress the associated Management of Change (MOC).
  • Provide technical input to risk assessments, Management of Change reviews, and project reviews
  • Performance manage the Engineering Contractor to close out purchase orders from a technical perspective
  • Be expected to be involved in multi discipline activities outside of the core discipline.


Key Accountabilities

  • Assuring compliance with the relevant Project specifications, ETPs, OMS.
  • Ensures the Lead Rotating Machinery is consulted on key technical issues and appraises the appropriate Engineering Team Leaders in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all relevant codes, standards, and regulations that pertain to the design of Rotating Machinery included on the facility.
  • Evaluate requests for deviations or exemptions to the established specifications and standards. Submits & progresses ETP deviations as needed.
  • Performance manages the Engineering Contractor e.g. Code 1 or 4 documents to achieve the technical close out of purchase order
  • Contributes to the machinery community of practice, keeps abreast of industry developments in machinery and ensures that lessons learned are effectively transferred to and from projects.
  • As needed, leads the interfaces between Project Engineering, the engineering contractor, construction, commissioning, operations, etc.
  • Understands the Project priorities and works to achieve them.


Essential Education

  • Degree in Engineering discipline.
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status.


Essential Experience & Job Requirements

  • Experience of working in major Projects environment.
  • Experience with system design and operation of mechanical rotating equipment packages ranging from process & utilities pumps through to compressors, generators and their associated drivers.
  • Pragmatic problem solver & decision maker, willing to challenge and ensure engineering value is delivered.
  • Track record of delivery and able to demonstrate effective project technical management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the project team, Contractors, suppliers.
  • Understanding and application of the GIS's & applicable industry standards for mechanical rotating equipment.


Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in working in Engineering during the Execute stage of a Project.
  • Actively engages and respects contributions of others.
  • Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.
  • Anticipates future situations and proactively plans to meet them.

Our client, a leading and fast growing Owner / Operator, are seeking a Marine Specialist to join them as a staff employee in Houston. This role will play a key part within the Marine Operations team whilst working closely with Commercial Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the back-up to the Marine Operations Manager who is the primary marine operations representative at the terminal.
  • Is the assistant marine operations point of contact for other port terminal operators, ships agents, harbor marine pilots, line handling contractors, vessel representatives, cargo and vessel surveyors, USCG, Port Freeport and the LNG cargo schedulers.
  • Becomes proficient with company IT systems that are relevant to Marine Operations, following company provided training.
  • Participates in the development of the company Cargo Management System (CMS), including the documentation of its requirements, review of functional design documents and draft reports and interface with the IT/MIS and
  • Commercial teams in the testing and final implementation of the CMS.
  • Assists with preparation and updates of company internal system user guides related to Marine Operations.

  • Participates in discussions involving the LNG terminals Operations and Maintenance schedules and procedures with regard to the condition and status of the terminals waterfront facilities.
  • Maintains a forecast of planned maintenance work that is required at either of the docks and coordinate with
  • Maintenance, Terminal Operations and Commercial, the scheduling of that work in order to minimize its impact on efficient cargo export operations.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Oil & Gas industry related experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related subject.
  • LNG experience is preferred.
  • Valid US Work Permit.
