About The Position
The Applications Development Specialist is primarily responsible for designing, programming, implementing and maintaining computer information systems that provide support for functions within the Company.

SCOPE BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE

The Inspection and Fabric Maintenance Inspection services scope is split into 4 Packages as described below:

PART A - OFFSHORE OPERATIONS

Package #1 - NDT and General Inspection Services for Offshore Operations

· Management of inspection activities from Client's office for Client's offshore assets;
· Execution of inspection and non-destructive testing services at Client's offshore assets
by a Core Inspection Team and by additional inspection and non-destructive testing resources on ad-hoc basis;

Package #2 - Fabric Maintenance Inspection Services for Offshore Operations

· Management of fabric maintenance inspection activities from Client's office for Client's
offshore assets;
· Execution of fabric maintenance inspection services by ad-hoc resources at Client's
offshore assets. There will be no Core Team for the offshore FM inspection scope;

PART B - ONSHORE OPERATIONS

Package #3 - NDT and General Inspection Services for Onshore Operations

· Management of inspection activities from Client's office for Client's onshore assets;
· Execution of inspection and non-destructive testing services by ad-hoc resources at
Client's onshore assets. There will be no Core Inspection Team for the onshore inspection and NDT scope;

Package #4 - Fabric Maintenance Inspection Services for Onshore Operations

· Management of fabric maintenance inspection activities from Client's office for Client's

· Execution of fabric maintenance inspection services by ad-hoc resources at Client's
onshore assets. There will be no Core Team for the onshore FM inspection scope;

Packages 1 includes both core and ad-hoc personnel and equipment whilst packages 2, 3 and 4 only contain ad-hoc personnel and equipment. Personnel part of the core team will permanently be affected to DPE facilities (either in DPE office or on board offshore operations), whilst ad-hoc personnel will be mobilised when required.

Client reserves the right to award one contract for the full scope of work under Packages 1 to 4, or award separate contracts for Part A and Part B (or combinations thereof), or have a primary and secondary contractor for all or part of the work. In the event the work is awarded to more than one contractor, the work allocation between the contractors will be at Client's sole discretion. Client does not commit to any minimum work volume under the contract.

Personnel and equipment requirements for Package 1 to 4 can respectively be found in Attachments A
to D.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE


The jobholder should have a Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences preferably with a post-graduate degree in the geosciences.

Experience & Requirements


The jobholder should have the following:

  1. Minimum 15 years' experience related to petroleum exploration, appraisal and development with increasing levels of technical leadership.
  2. Familiar with seismic interpretation, petroleum systems, structural geology in extensional regimes, fault-seal analysis, sequence stratigraphy, 3D static modelling and offshore drilling operations.
  3. Expertise in assessing pre-drill subsurface risk and in making pre-drill volumetric evaluations.
  4. Familiarity with Petronas PPGUA guidelines, and working with JV partners and host authority.
  5. Ability to integrate seismic mapping and geologic interpretation into an overall 3D subsurface geological model.
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  7. Experience in business development block reviews and data room assessment will be an added advantage.
  8. Strong technical background of geology and geophysics with the motivation to find new and improved solutions, either by applying new technology or creativity and innovation.

Subsurface Lead - Consultant - Residential UAE


MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
* Responsible for the planning, directing and coordinating all the subsurface activities for the two newly acquired blocks in Iraq. Role will also include building and managing a new subsurface team; finalizing and implementing the preliminary development plan activities as part of the Development team and formulating all corresponding operating procedures and policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Responsible for the planning, directing and coordinating all the subsurface activities for the two newly acquired blocks in Iraq .
* Building and managing a new subsurface team.
* Finalizing and implementing the preliminary development plan activities as part of the Development team and formulating all corresponding operating procedures and policies.
* Responsible for PDP and FDP subsurface activities.
* Attends meetings with the Company partners on subsurface matters if and when required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related Engineering/Science discipline.
* Minimum 15 years E&P experience with significant management experience in field development activities.
