The completion engineer is accountable for the engineering activity covering planning, program generation and execution of completion operations within the wells team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strong commitment to HSSE, you will take, you will take responsibility for planning and executing a completion well designs for an oil or gas well.
  • Prepare testing/completion programs, including equipment specification and selection, flow modelling, stress analysis.
  • Prepare cost estimates and cost control for completion activities.
  • Ensure completion programs, program amendments, and dispensations to policy are prepared on schedule and are adequately risk assessed
  • Liaise with sub-surface and production team to ensure completion design is fit for purpose

Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Process Engineer in Facilities Development Team is responsible for executing in-house/external engineering studies, develop process concepts and evaluate options for modifications to Onshore/Offshore facilities.
Educational Qualifications
Must be degree qualified in Chemical Engineering. Preferably Chartered/Profesional Engineer.
Experience

  • Should have 10 years process/chemical engineering experience in oil and gas environment.
  • Should have at least 5 years' experience in onshore gas processing and gas distribution facilities; preferably with experience in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) offloading terminal design/operations.
  • Should have at least 5 years' experience in offshore field development and operation of late-life production facilities.
  • Should have worked mainly with feasibility studies and conceptual design; preferable should have experience of all project design phases from conceptual design through to detailed design.
  • Should have experience in brownfield modifications.
  • Experience with process simulation software such as HYSYS, PIPESIM, Flarenet; should have capability of using, and preferable developing, in-house MS Excel sheets.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience of onshore and offshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practices.
  • Experience in any of the following technical areas is desirable:
  • Gas dew-pointing and gas drying technologies
  • Two-phase and three-phase separation
  • Gas compression and rotating equipment
  • Heat Exchanger equipment
  • Pipeline/riser flow assurance

About the Job
As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you'll be a key contributor where your skills and input make a big difference. In this role you'll design embedded firmware supporting the client's technology, specifically Measurement While Drilling (MWD) systems. You'll work closely with project stakeholders and management to collaborate and solve real world problems, conduct root cause analysis, and address problems with innovative solutions.
We're looking for someone who cares deeply about their craft, someone who gets excited by tough technical challenges. Creativity, imagination, rapid execution and strong communication skills are critical to build new and exciting products. While we want to be scrappy and nimble in the right ways, long term technical vision, and continuous focus on engineering and operational excellence are essential for success in this role.
Job Duties
* Understand and design complex algorithms, including DSP.
* Develop and maintain firmware in C for embedded devices, using Code Composer Studio.
* Serve as a firmware liaison assisting in failure analysis and troubleshooting.
* Manage firmware updates and patches.
* Maintain legacy code, adding features and carrying out fault diagnostics.
* Write scripts and test code supporting hardware testing and qualification.
* Ensure firmware-software compatibility by interfacing with software development team.
* Participate in requirements gathering to produce requirements documents.
* Assist hardware team with component selections and circuit design.
Minimum Requirements
* BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience with Embedded Systems (5 years desired).
* Extensive experience programming embedded microcontrollers using C.
* Experience with communication protocols: CAN, UART and I2C
* Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) - TI RTOS (BIOS) a plus.
* Knowledge of good software development practices.
* Experience with the TI TMS320C28x DSP family is a plus.
* Previous experience with HPHT designs is a plus.
* Python scripting experience is a plus

Lead Client Vessel Rep - Pipelay

This is for a challenging pipe laying job and will require an individual with some strong engineering experience in addition to hands on pipelaying supervisory expertise.

This rotational contract position requires prior experience working as a Lead Client Rep on behalf of an offshore oil & gas operating company in the Gulf of Mexico. The current schedule consists of a September start date (in office) before a full-time schedule starting 1st October thru the end of 2019.

Required Experience:

- Extensive offshore experience on Pipe Laying Vessels (PLV)

- Previous experience as a Pipeline Engineer / Project Engineer working on subsea assets

- Wealth of experience in subsea Pipe Laying operations in the Gulf of Mexico

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance for E&P, with specific responsibilities for the budgeting and forecasting for the wider Oil Asset group, the Asset Economist will sit within the Financial Planning and Analysis team in the Oil Finance division.


The asset economist will be responsible for assisting the Team with the valuation of assets, producing budgets, trackers and business planning models.


This role is suitable for someone who is post qualification with a good grounding of accounting or finance experience. The ideal candidate should have an existing understanding of traditional valuation techniques, and valuation metrics. They should be an expert user of Microsoft Excel and a proficient user of all other Microsoft packages. A high attention to detail is essential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


 Budget and business planning (focused around excel modelling with inputs provided by the business)
 Carrying out updates to Forecast Models
 Setting up cost trackers for the business
 Other ad-hoc duties as required
 Integral member of Oil Finance team


SKILL SETS


 Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and an expert at excel modelling
 Thorough understanding of traditional valuation techniques (NPV, IRR, Payback) and associated excel modelling using these techniques
 Ability to present outputs of analysis in easy to understand messages using Microsoft PowerPoint
 Understanding of corporate / company valuation metrics (discounted cash flows, comparable company multiples)
 Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
 Strong analytical and numerical skills
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 High standard of spoken / written English


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


 Relevant degree or equivalent relevant finance qualification is required
