Petroplan is currently working with a private equity backed E&P business in the Houston area who require a Reservoir Engineering Tech.

This position will be office based and report directly into the Reservoir Engineer Manager. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reserves annual reporting and auditing, working to SEC guidelines
  • Playing a key role in Asset Development & Optimizations

You must have at 7 years of experience, including recent experience working on Eagleford operations.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated safety professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.

Lead Development/Process Engineer - Offshore Development

Petroplan is now accepting resumes on behalf of a well-established Oil & Gas company in need of a Lead Development/Process Engineer. This position will be overseeing a major Gulf of Mexico development project. It will be Houston based, with some travel when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop all process bases of both design and design properties
  • Work with other departments to ensure design meets all requirements
  • Develop engineering solutions to help minimize interface issues
  • Provide and oversee guidance to FEED and detailed design modelling
  • Ensure and establish safety and environmental performance expectations

Requirements:

  • 15 years of Oil & Gas experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of single / multi-phase flow systems
  • Experience of FEED and detailed design contracts
  • Experience with EOR Technology

Engineering Manager - Offshore Development

  • Supervise review and approval of the following - vendor lists, invitations to tender, purchase requisitions etc.
  • Represent client in any of the following negotiations and placements - tender evaluation and vendor or contract selection

Requirements:

Subsurface Engineering Manager

Summary

Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Subsurface Engineering Manager to oversee subsurface disciplines including geology, geophysics, petrophysics andreservoir for a Gulf of Mexico development project. This position is Houston based, working for a reputable oil & gas company.

In addition to having responsibility for the subsurface function, this role will interface with the drilling & completions team and support the facility development group with subsurface design.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for field development and redevelopment projects
- Oversee development of Nodal analysis, PTA, reservoir modeling and economic evaluations
- Development studies of pressure maintenance, ESPs, artificial lift and EOR projects as well as involvement in their implementation, management & optimization
- Undertakes production forecasting and optimization as well as new & mature field development studies

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required (Petroleum Engineering or similar preferred)
- 15 years' oil and gas industry experience including some offshore facility development experience
- Experience with large field development (multiple platforms, pipelines and wells)
- Ability to evaluate asset development opportunities by integrating subsurface data from multiple sources
- Experience with Carbonate reservoirs and multiple enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Exposure to exploration support, field development, well planning and operations

Subsea Specialist Supervisor

Petroplan is currently recruiting for a market leading Oil & Gas service company in the Houston area looking to add a Subsea Specialist Supervisor. This position will be a short term contract with the opportunity of being extended. Prospective candidates will need to have all certifications up to date as you will be working periodically offshore.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete daily job logs and turn in reports
  • Responsible for assembling, testing, and operating equipment used for subsea safety systems
  • Operate projects including completions, workover and DST operations
  • Operate equipment such as pneumatic pumps to hydraulically operate different functions of subsea safety tools
  • Assist engineers with generating procedures
  • Attend daily meetings with crew members



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a Supervisor role
  • Experience operating in Gulf of Mexico
  • Up to date certifications such as T.W.I.C Card and Well Control

Senior Reservoir Engineer

Petroplan is currently looking to speak with Senior Reservoir Engineering professionals on behalf of several oil & gas companies within the Texas area that have upcoming needs within their subsurface teams . Prospective candidates must have extensive unconventional shale play experience in multiple resource plays in the United States. These openings will likely be office based with the occasional travel to the field as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimating reserves and generating forecasts for property evaluations and development planning
  • Evaluate well economics for new drilling opportunities and valuations for leasing
  • Generating and managing auditing of the companies SEC reserves reporting
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment with great communication skills



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer
  • 5 years of unconventional shale play experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Master's Degree is preferable
  • Expertise in technical applications such as ARIES, Peep, OFM and reserves software
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA with no sponsorship required
